JACKS POV
I pick up a stack of books an d turn to start walking back to class.
"Jack, wait." He calls desperately. I hear fast foot steps behind me. I turn when I feel something warm wrapped around my wrist. Before I know it, Mark pushes the books out of my hands and pulls me close.
"You want proof, then?"
He puts his hand on my cheek and leans in. The feeling makes me certain. He pulls his lips away from mine and I want more.
"You change your mind quick." I say.
"I never did," he replies softly.
"But that afternoon when I... and you... you know shut the door," confusion spreads across my face and quickly replaces the red blush on my cheeks."That? Oh, Jack, I'm sorry you thought that. I was just... just so amazed that someone could say something like that. Not even my family has ever said anything so nice. And I'm sorry if you thought different of my actions."
"Your forgiven," I smile.
"Still friends?" he asks.
"I think we can be more than friends. That is, if you want to be more than friends?"
"Of course."
I pull him in and we kiss for the second time. Only this time?
We're official.
