Taylor's POV

"This is a horrible idea. A horrible idea!" I tell Lila nervously. Biting my lower lip, I stare out of my window, watching the light-up house, the noise blaring from inside, and many people, and I mean many people, are at this party. Ugh, and the worst part is that I don't know anybody there!

Gosh, I need friends.

After hours of letting Lila pick out an outfit for me to wear and letting her do my makeup, we actually left the house around a decent time. I, for one, thought that we weren't going to make it before nine o'clock since Lila was taking forever to pick out an outfit for her to wear. I, in the end, wore my fancy, not really, tight blue jeans that Lila absolutely loved and paired it off with a simple black fitted t-shirt.

It took me a lot of pleading for Lila to let me wear a simple outfit to this party, and thankfully, she did. Lila, on the other hand, is wearing a very snug little black dress that I did not approve of. However, I had to keep my mouth shut if I wanted to keep my face from getting a bruise.

"This is a fantastic idea. No backing out. Now come on Taylor. This party won't be that horrible." She says with a wink, taking her seatbelt off yet mine is still on. I'm just not gonna move from this spot. From this seat. From this car!

"Um. Are you sure it's not too late to back out? I mean come on Lila. Do you honestly think I'll survive at that party? I'm not gonna do anything there!"

With a pout, she says, "But you can't leave me, Taylor! I'm your sister!"

"And I like staying at home!" I reply.

"We're not doing this again." I groan with frustration, crossing my arms as I lean into the seat. "Stupid party," I mutter under my breath. "So I can't stay in the car?" I ask her, almost smiling until I see rage take over her face. Crap.

"Oh no. You're going, whether you like it or not. Now get out of the damn car before I kick you out of it." I swallow hard, knowing for sure that whatever Lila says something, she means it.

"Fine." Annoyed with her I unbuckle my seatbelt, opening the car door and walking out, facing her as I say, "Meanie," and slam the door. Feeling a bit proud of myself for doing that, a smile lands on my face, but it quickly vanishes when I see some strange guy wink at me as he walks towards the house.

"Blah," I say.

"What happened?" I turn to see Lila standing right beside me, a confused expression on her face.

"A male winked at me," I say with a shudder.

"A male?" I nod. "Did you say a male? I swear Taylor, it's a boy. Just a boy." I shrug. "So, are you ready for the time of your life?" I raise my eyebrow at her with a scoff.

"Not really," I grumble.

"Fine by me! Let's party!!!" I wince as I hear Lila shout, creating, of course, attention. I notice by the many people now staring at Lila and me, probably wondering what the hell is wrong with the girl next to me. Sadly though, the girl next to me is my older sister.

"Is it too late to go back into the car?" I ask. She nods, smirking as she waves the car keys in my face, trying to grab them away from her, yet she quickly puts them in her bra. "That's gonna hurt Lila," I tell her.

"Are you coming or what?" she sighs as she blows a string of hair to the side.

"Well, I have no choice now since the damn keys are in your bra!" I shout back, frustrated by her sudden action.
