TAYLOR (CHAPTER 50)
"Isn't it a beautiful day Taylor?"
"Yes mom," I say in a monotone voice. I cannot believe Lila made Shawn pull me out of bed, carry me all the way downstairs, and now I'm going shopping with my mother, in Lila's pyjamas. Now, you may question, why Lila's pyjamas?
Because firstly, my pyjamas show quite a lot of skin, second, I care about my pyjamas, and thirdly, I don't care about Lila's pyjamas. Plus, I was too lazy to find something in my suitcase that was normal to wear outside, so I took Lila's pyjamas. I also braided my hair which, to be honest, I look adorable!
"Taylor!"
"Huh? What?"
"I asked you if you wanted a coffee and all you said was that you look adorable," my mother says in confusion. Trying to hold back my laugh I let out a cough instead.
"Um, yeah sorry, I guess I was dreaming?"
"Uh-huh. Would you like a coffee or not?" my mother asks again. Sighing, I nod. "Great!" she says with a smile.
"I want a large Iced Coffee with Milk please!" I yell the order at my mom as she almost walks in Starbucks. Nodding, she walks in the store, probably full in embarrassment that her grown-up daughter literally shouted in front of lots of people. But eh, I only did that so she can get my coffee order right. Looking around I spot a bench which then I sit down, pulling out my phone from my pocket I call Alice.
"Salut! Comment puis-je vous aider?" Alice says in her cute French accent.
"Alice, it's me."
"Taylor?!"
"Oui," I tell her in laughter.
"Oh mon Dieu, I missed you!"
"I missed you too Alice. I just wanted to call you to ask how you and Victor are doing with the store. Everything is going fine right?" I say in an uneasy voice.
"Do not worry Taylor. Victor and I have it all under control. Scratch that, I mean I have it all under control. Meanwhile, Victor here is flirting with a putain," she says in anger.
"Alice, don't call someone a bitch. Plus, I thought you hated Victor?"
"I do! But seriously, he looks so stupid right now. Trying to look cool and all, when everyone knows that he's the complete opposite!"
"Is he flirting with her now?"
"Oui!"
"Put the phone on speaker. Now Alice," I tell her, now getting angry at Victor for making Alice mad and for not doing his freakin job.
"Oh, Victor?" I hear Alice say in an innocent voice.
"What?" he says in annoyment.
"I have someone on the phone for you." In three, two, one.
"Victor!" I shout in the phone.
"Fucking hell," I hear him mutter.
"Alice tells me you're flirting with a so-called putain Victor. Now, please explain to me why you're not doing your job? Instead, you're flirting with some girl?! In my damn store?!" I yell at him in anger. Fuming, I know that when I come back, I'm gonna kill him.
"I didn't!"
"You didn't what? Meant to flirt with a customer? Meant to not do your job? Meant to make Alice jealous and make me mad as well?"
