and against all the fire burning around her
all the flames she caused
to melt down the world
there was one heart
who wanted to take all of the heat and embrace her
like a blanket of all the whispers she missed to heara whisper like
the feeling of wind blowing on your skin
like
falling into an unknown melodyI think
I want to hold you
embrace you like a wing
I want to take you higher and
clean the air
so you can breathe and
have a look at the things so farI want to hold you
like something you haven't felt before
and I'm sorry,
but I'm not sorry
for leaving the painful past behind
