It was a cat.
The purring kitten rubbed against Daniel as he covered his face in embarrassment.
It was a little cat that jumped on his original body's face and woke him.
His lips tingled, ghosting Jay's touch. He knew it was impossible, this body wasn't the one that kissed Jay. But his mind seemed to be ignoring him.
Everywhere, he felt like he was on fire.
Daniel pulled his hand away from his face, shaking his head.
Great, just great. I don't know what came over me - to kiss Jay like that. It must have been the alcohol.
He'd thought of those things before, the thoughts flashing like guilty little sparks. But he never thought those sparks would catch fire. His memories were hazy, disoriented.
But he was aware of the key factors.
Daniel kissed Jay, he'd pinned him against the wall. I even su-sucked his n-ne. . .
The brunette couldn't even finish the though before he slammed his face into his pillow and screamed.
The kitten pawed at the boy, mewling.
Daniel peeked over at the little fur ball, pouting. If I didn't have to sit and stare at his ass for 15 minutes, I wouldn't have jumped him, he tried to convince himself.
But really he knew that wasn't it.
Jay's smile was more than enough to make Daniel want him.
Daniel scooped up the purring kitten, petting it behind the ears.
Really, Daniel didn't know what to do.

"Thank you. . ." the girl wrinkled her nose and carefully took the kitten out of Daniel's hands, sure not to touch his chubby fingers.
Daniel smiled and nodded, not acknowledge his neighbor's obvious disgust. "He's really sweet. Just make sure he doesn't get on the road."
"Sure," the younger girl said before shutting the door in his face.
Daniel felt a slight sting at the treatment.
Really, people won't change. There had been a few occasions when the girl had greeted him happily while walking down the street. She seemed nice.
People really are narrow minded.
He eventually drifted away from the stinging thoughts as he walked back to his home a few houses down.
Looking at the darkness that settled in black pools, he knew it was almost time for work.
He dressed quickly. Though he was worried about his body, he couldn't miss this job.
He made it to the convenience store with time to spare and waded through his shift, fingers tapping to expel his nerves and impatience.
When it was time to leave he locked up and headed home.
He focused on one thing: the need to return to his other body.
He wasn't sure how the kitten got inside but he hoped it wouldn't interrupt him this time.
He frowned. This time?
His face reddened and he scolded himself. There will be no this time or next time. Jay must hate me, how would he react if I suddenly kissed him again? He went through all the trouble of picking me up and hanging out with me. In return I fantasize about him, spit in his face, and sexually harass him.
Daniel trembled as he opened his door, the sun already rising. He immediately lay on his bed, preparing himself to sleep.
He came to one conclusion. He'll just pretend he was drunk (half-truth) and that it was all a misunderstanding (lie).
He closed his eyes and after a few moments, everything turned black.
. . .
Daniel blinked his eyes awake, confused as his spinning head pressed against a soft pillow.
A puffy light green blanket smothered his body in warmth and the gentle flutter of breathing swished through the still air.
He groaned softly, feeling a slight headache. Really, his tolerance was too low. His thoughts shifted when he noticed the finery.
The room smelled of wealth. There were expensive things littering the drawers and walls. He was surprised that Jay was loaded but the thought passed as soon as the shock wore off. The important fact was that he was at Jay's home, possibly his room.
Following the sound of breathing, he turned. His eyes bulged out of his head when his nose brushed against a certain blonde's.
His heart nearly leapt out of his chest and suffocated him.
Daniel stayed still, afraid to wake him.
Instead he eased his breathing and observed him.
He knew it was wrong, borderline stalker-ish, to stare at someone while they slept - especially the way he was looking at Jay. But he found himself appreciating the situation.
Daniel shivered, the images of their make out session still fresh. Though the memory was imperfect, the sensations on his skin were still there.
He fingers twitched. He ached. He wanted to kiss him again.
To just push on top of Jay and kiss him softly, slowly. To convey his want through gentle contact. So he couldn't make any excuse, couldn't say it was a mistake.
But he didn't kiss him.
He couldn't stand the temptation so he turned around and stared at the far wall.
Jay's presence hovered in the back of his mind. The proximity was so close that he didn't know if he was imagining the warmth that radiated onto him, or if he really was that close.
He did know, that it was driving him crazy.
