Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

Time is ticking by slowly as Rapunzel is doing the final touches on her painting of her best friends and herself. Not to mention, she just finished making some other art works for the City Museum and the art business industry where she was recently offered a job. Rapunzel wiped the sweat off her forehead, letting out a breath, looking at her masterpiece. It showed them at the top of a park hill, smiling widely, just like the first time they met. Rapunzel leaned her head to the right, thinking deeply.

"Rapunzel! Are you here?" Rapunzel turned her head to see Astrid, another friend of hers and Hiccup’s current girlfriend. "Yeah, I’m here." Astrid came nearer to her and looked in awe at Rapunzel’s work. "Woah. This… This looks amazing." Astrid gaped, still amazed. "Thanks, but it’s not quite done. Hmm…" Rapunzel looked on, thinking of the last thing she was missing. Just then, she thought of it, grabbed some light bluish paint and started painting.

"Have you seen Rapunzel?" The three young adults were making their way to their respective apartments. Jack asked of the whereabouts of their mutual friend, who he hasn’t seen all day. "Actually, no." Hiccup replied. "How about you, Mer?" "No. I haven’ seen her a’ all." Merida answered, trying to think why this was so. "Oh yeah, I can’t wait to tell Punz about the surprise." Jack said, smiling widely, excitement clear in his features. "Well, we’re all excited, really." Hiccup commented, as they get nearer to Rapunzel’s apartment. Merida knocks and places her hand on the knob, slowly turning it, finding out it was unlocked. "Yea, I wonder how Punz will re-"

"SURPRISE!"

The three stood shocked by the doorway to see their best friend wearing quite an elegant purple sundress, hair in a long braid. What really took their attention was the huge painting right next to her. It was of them, the first day they met at the park. They were laughing, smiles wide on their faces. The smallest details made the painting looked more alive. From the hair strands to their clothes, from the freckles on their faces to the curved tips of their noses. She even captured the effect of the snowflakes that fell that day, marking the first day of winter.

"Rapunzel, I-I can’t even…" Jack started. "Punz, this is.. This is amazing. Wond’rful." Merida stated, awestruck. "Well, I can totally see that you really poured everything you’ve got for this. Thank you." Hiccup said, smiling. "Your welcome. It was no problem. Even if I had some work tht I had to finish early to be able to do this, it was worth it." Rapunzel replied, blushing from the compliments. "Well, it’s our turn, Punz." Jack smiled. "An’ you migh’ enjoy it, too." Merida stated as she came nearer to the blonde-haired girl. Hiccup stepped forward as well, along with Jack, pulling them all in a group hug. "After all this work, I must say you would need a holiday."
