"And Slytherin Chaser Flynn shoots the Quaffle and… He wins Slytherin another ten points!”

It was a cold day, wind blowing, the sun nowhere to be found. Students were out on the Quidditch field, watching the game between Slytherin and Hufflepuff unfold. Slytherin is currently in the lead by twenty points as the score was 70 – 50. Around the field, colors of green and silver, and black and yellow can be seen, in support of the two teams out in the open, playing. Four of these spectators to be first years, a certain blonde-haired Hufflepuff, a white-haired Slytherin, a red-headed Gryffindor and a brown-haired freckled Ravenclaw.

“See? Flynn scored another one for Slytherin! Slytherin’s going to win I tell you.” boasted a certain Jack Frost, face proud. “Don’t be so sure, Frost. Hufflepuffs are known as hardworking people. We’ll beat you eventually.” retorted Rapunzel, feeling sure of her decision. “Must you argue about this? It’s still the first game after all. But then, they are your houses and you should support them.” Said the 11-year-old Hiccup, looking at the ongoing game. “’Aye. I cannot wait for the game betw’en Slytherin and Gryffindor.” commented Merida, getting excited; not minding the hair that was being blown by the wind, which was as red as the Gryffindor scarf, she was wearing.

The commentator, James Sirius Potter, the son of the famed Harry Potter, is telling the scores and giving out some unnecessary comments, although he was warned by Professor Sandy for quite a while now. The bickering still hasn’t stopped between the two first years. “You know, next year, I’ll be in the Slytherin Quidditch team. And we’ll win those games. Not that they can’t win without me.” Jack said, smirking. “Oh please, Frost. Slytherin’s going to lose next year when I get into the team.” Merida countered, proud to be a Gryffindor, the house where the brave come from. Before anything can break out, James’ comment caught their attention.

"And there goes Hufflepuff seeker Kristoff, shooting into the air. Is that the Golden Snitch?" Students stand up from their seats, looking around to get a glimpse of the golden flying ball. The Slytherin seeker, Aladdin, has seen the Snitch as well, following it. "Aladdin and Kristoff are neck-and-neck. Who will win this game?" said James, on the edge of his seat as well. The two seekers disappeared in the sky. 5… 10… 15 seconds… 20… 30… Where are they? Suddenly, Aladdin comes out, heading down following the Snitch, Kristoff following suit. The Snitch heads down, closer to the ground. Determined yet worried looks were on both faces of the seekers. Almost there…

The ball shots up immediately. Both were startled but, by chance, Kristoff catches the Snitch. Cheers erupted. Hufflepuffs and its supporters from other houses rejoices. Rapunzel had a wide smile on her face, much wider than that of Hiccup’s or Merida’s. She was ecstatic, jumping in joy for her house team had won. Jack had a frown on his face, though. The three noticed this. “Hey, just because Slytherin lost the first game doesn’t mean that you can’t get back up. It can still change.” Hiccup says, giving out words of encouragement, trying to cheer up his friend. “Tha’s right. Besides, next year, when we ge’ ter join the team, the game would be so much better, righ’?” Merida suggested, a smile on her face. “Yeah. If it makes you feel any better, I’m sorry for arguing with you about it earlier.” Rapunzel apologized. Jack smiled, glad to have met his friends that care for him this much. And they knew he was fine just by that smile.

They thought nothing could get better at that moment. They were wrong. Snowflakes fell from the sky. Soon, the place surrounding them was filled with the white substance known as snow. The three started playing around with it, laughing and enjoying the feeling along with other students. But, Rapunzel stays still. She looks on at the cold white material. She wonders what it was and why people enjoy being out her with it.. Merida notices her friend frozen, soon followed by the two young boys. They smile and pull her to the snow, teaching her the wonders of it. Rapunzel learns to enjoy and joins in the laughter. What a way to end the day.
