Into Your Hands

Into your hands I place my sorrow
For I know I will be happy tomorrow.

Into your hands I place my fears.
Because you have always dried my tears.

From the hurt and pain that plunged my heart.
You have healed me, giving me a new start.

You are indeed a friend of a wounded heart.
With you, I could never part.

Into your hands I place my insecurities,
For I know at the end of the tunnel there'll be prosperity.

Into your hands I place my doubt.
Because you have rescued me from my spiritual drought.

Into your hands I place my lack of faith.
Give me patience, teach me how to wait.

When I am sliding on this slippery slope,
You have pulled me up, showering me with hope.

On the days when I am feeling alone,
In my heart you've made your home.

Into your hands I place my life,
Now there's peace and no longer strife.

A/N: I know there have been times when you have been faced with issues and challenges where you felt like you could not pull through. Whether or not you believe in a higher power, you can identify someone who has been there for you through it all.

I believe in a higher being so this poem depicts all the challenges I was facing during a period of my life.

N.B we all have our own religious beliefs or the lack there of so don't bash someone if their belief is different form yours.

So if that help came from a higher power, a friend or a loved one, thank them and let them know you appreciate them!
