#relationshipgoalsOf course we hit the 'like' button.
Why not!
Who doesn't like seeing a happy couple?
After all, we love to be in the manic stage of a relationship.
Like an addict on drugs, we enjoy being high. But
What really lies behind all the pictures with the amazing scenery and love struck smiles?
We are living in a generation where being in a relationship has lost its true value.
We talk about committment, yet, we have the side chicks and friends with benefits.
We love to engage in foursomes,
You, me and the person we converse with on the phone. No form of communication amongst ourselves.
We are often in the same place but not together.
We often hold hands but fail to make eye contant.
The same hands we portray going on adventures in our photos. We love taking pictures of our feets placed together but end up walking on different paths.
We claim we want forever but we only live for the now.
We all want to be pampered but also profess to being independent.
We text and sext our desires over the phone but become mute in person.
Having nothing to say.
We want to kiss in the rain and not feel the thunder.
For better but not for worse. We don't want to get hurt, yet we play with other's emotions.
Playing the puppet master.
We yern to be in love but we are afraid to fall into it.
We say "I love you" today and find ourselves in a new relationship tomorrow.
We want the goals but not really the relationship.
