Sacred Sins

Oh father you hear our cries.
I search for you up in the skies.
I am a follower of your every word.
I am the sheep that is a part of the heavenly herd.

You say all sinners will perish.
I see the deeds of the so called humans you cherish.
But still you tend to forgive them, you give them a chance.
Yet, they disregard you, blasphemed and curse you. On your name they continue to dance.

But I got to take things into my own hands.
For now.
I am carrying out your work. It will help to cleanse these lands.
I know this is what you want.
I heard the voices supplying the seeds for me to plant.

I took out one, I took out two and some more of you.
You all seem to ask the same question, Why? but my response is always the same...this is what I was mandated to do.
I am cleansing this world of the evil that exist.
It feels too good for me to resist.

But I was hindered by the devil's advocates who were commissioned to serve and protect.
They were the ones who prevented me from fulfilling the ultimate project.
They look at me as if I am the crazy one here.
But God, I know I am the one you cherish so dear.

They told me that the true God would not commission me to kill.
After all, it is in the Ten Commandments. It would not be his will.
Ok you've got me, I do know all of this.
But using this 'I love God and it is his will' ploy gave me excruciating bliss.

Don't you think?

A/N: A little crazy huh! So this is the excuse we tend to hear from persons who claimed to do the work of their so called gods when we all know they are just sadistic assholes who just want to hurt and drive fear into others. This is reality. This especially speaks to the terrorist attacks that is taking place around us. I am not of the Islamic faith but what I do know is that Islam is a religion that preaches peace and not violence.

Devious acts were carried out by so called Christians are evident as well. So we aren't off the hook.

So the moral is that religion is not really a bad thing its the people who used it to carry out their own agenda that distorts the true meaning and teachings.
