Mistake or Fate?

The next morning, I figured, 'Hey, what you moping about your room for? He's not your boyfriend'

So I try my positive, cheerleader inspired approach to things and decide to find a house party so I can drink my problems away!

So I text my fellow cheerleaders and tell them that I'm dying for a party to go to, and do any of them know about one?

After literally 3 minutes, I'm inundated with over 30 texts.

Sigh, my cheerleaders are so reliable for this type of thing.

After reading the majority of them - I can't be bothered to read them all! - I find out that actually most of them say the same thing, Charlie Lane's having a massive drunken barbeque all day in the sun and then they're all heading over to Mike's to completely trash his house again, later on in the night.

Perfect. I get to be drunk all day AND night! Yay :D

I text Olive all the details and she replies with 'Yes, you're finally back to how you used to be! I will see you at Charlie's at 2pm babycakes ;-)'

So since it's 12 now, I decide to go down to tell my mum that I'm going out with Olive in the day and then I'll sleepover hers tonight. Aka, I'm lying dramatically to my mum as I'm not planning on leaving the party at all tonight!

As I enter the kitchen to look for her, I see a note on the kitchen counter which reads,

Hey sweetie, glad you're up. I need you to wash up the plates in the sink, dry them and put them away. Then I've left the washing on a chair in the back garden; hang them up!

Thanks a lot honey, see you later!

Mum xx

Oh great, as if I don't have enough things to do today in order to prepare for a pool party. I need to shave my legs, style my hair so it doesn't look rubbish if it gets wet, pick out the perfect bikini to show off my figure and pick an outfit that works for a day time outfit as well as a party outfit for the night, because I sure as hell am not taking an outfit with me to change into between parties.

I wash the dishes up at the speed of light and do the rest of my chores within 45 minutes.

Damn it. I'd hoped it wouldn't take more than 20 minutes to complete!

I rush upstairs and run a brush through my hair. I then apply quite alot of waterproof mascara and some lipgloss. and decide it would be best if I packed my make-up in my bag just incase.

Make- up ... check.

I sit in front of the mirror on my desk and stare at my hair for a while. Then I remember the hair thingy my auntie bought my for christmas. It seemed like a really lame, and crappy gift at the time, but boy am I glad I have it now.

Basically, it's this giant circle that you put on the ends of your hair and when you turn your hair into it, it creates a perfect donut shape on the top of your head.

Hair ... check.

30 minutes left before I need to leave.

I decide to just run to the toilet and shave my legs at rapid speed. Unfortunately, it still seems to take me 10 minutes.

De-haired ... check.

20 minutes left.

I throw on my trusty purple bikini that makes my boobies look huge!

Bikini choice ... check.

Now for the hardest part. Choosing my outfit.

I go through my entire wardrobe over and over, until there's literally 2 minutes left.
