My Hope

*Stevie's POV*

Some time has passed and Ethan has opened up to not only Robert, but Mick and John.

All were confused but after talking it over and Ethan told them what transgender is, they were accepting of Ethan. They accept her for who she is and they all support her.

Robert blew me away by saying how he wasn't going anywhere and will be my side and Ethan's side no matter what.

Robert really is an amazing man and I can see myself marrying him.

Ethan has yet to tell Lindsey about herself. She is terrified, and rightfully so. Lindsey doesn't like how Ethan dresses or the nail polish.

Really, it's the same complaints he has made before and each time, we all ignore him.

*Weeks later*

We are getting close to finishing the new album.

Things were going as smoothly as they could until Lindsey and I bumped heads over which mixing engineer we should use.

Again, an argument had ensued but, after everything was said and done, we chose a mixing engineer we were both happy with.

Now, it feels as if since we are close to the finished line, the rest of the recording has been pleasant.

Being around Lindsey now isn't so bad now. We laugh and joke around more. I'm so glad we found some common ground and are working together for the sake of not only our band, but for our children too.

Victoria has been so much more happier now and that makes me extremely happy. When she told me her name, I cried. I don't know why. Maybe it was because as soon as she found her name, she became much more confident and strong. My heart feels so full to see such a positive change in my child.

Also, Dr. Warner gave us some good news. She said that Victoria could start taking hormones.

The only down side is, we have to tell Lindsey.

How things work is that both parents must give their consent and sign a document saying that they are giving their child permission to take this medication.

We are all nervous because we don't know how Lindsey is going to react.

My hope is that Lindsey doesn't give Victoria any trouble and he allows our daughter to be who she was meant to be.

Very short chapter but hope you all enjoyed it.
