*Stevie's POV*

I have a day off from the studio today and Robert and I have a date night tonight. I'm so excited. We haven't really had time for us to be alone in a while.

For now, Sara, Victoria and I are having some time together before I have to get ready for my date.

We have a rather relaxing day then they both help me pick out a dress for my date. They are acting really strange but I don't question it. They tell me they want me to look perfect.

We pick out one of my long black dresses that fits my curves well and my hair is curled a little. I put on my make up and before I know it, Robert is here and he's just presented me with a dozen roses. I smile and smell them.

Sara suddenly takes them from me and she and Victoria rush me and Robert outside. Sara tells me she'll put them in water for me. What's their rush?

I would be worried but Karen is home and I know they won't be getting into any trouble.

Robert doesn't react to how my children are acting, as if he knows something. Hmmm...am I missing something?

Oh well...

Robert opens the car door and I thank him as I get inside. He smiles his beautiful smile that takes my breath away and closes the car door.

He drives us to our destination which is a lovely Italian restaurant I love so much.

But when we get there, my brow furrows. It looks as if it's not open. There is no other car in the parking lot.

"Robert? I think they are closed." I say as he parks the car.
"They are not." Robert assures me.

He then gets out of the car and rushes to my side. He opens the car door once again and he puts his hand out for me to take. I take his hand and step out.

We walk to the front door of the restaurant and we go inside.

I am in awe as I see there is a single round table set for two in the center of the restaurant. There is candle light all around and two candles are placed on the table as well.
I also see a bucket with ice and wine chilling inside.

A waiter is standing close by with a warm smile.

"Robert? What's going on?" I asked as I look at him.
His smile widens and he responds. "It's been a while since we've been out alone like this, so, I asked them to close the place so we can have it all to ourselves. I wanted to make this night special."
"Oh, Robert! This is very sweet and romantic of you." I say.

Robert guides me to the table and our waiter takes our order. The waiter leaves to put in our order then he comes back and opens the bottle of wine then serves us each a glass.

Robert and I then begin a conversation as we drink our wine.

Soon we are eating our food then when we finish, I hear a violin. I look up and see a violinist walk out from the side of the restaurant. He begins to play and Robert stands up.

Robert puts his hand out and says. "May I have this dance?"

My heart gives a flutter; this is the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me.
Sure Lindsey had his moments, but not like this.

I smile at him and take his hand. He guides me a little bit away from the table and we begin to slow dance.

"Thank you for this night." I say to him. "With everything going on at the studio, it's nice to get away from that. Thank goodness it's almost over."
"You're very welcome." Robert says. "I plan to have many more nights like this in the future."

I smile more and look into his eyes. Robert caresses my cheek and I melt into his touch, closing my eyes.

"Stephanie..." he says. I open my eyes and look at him so he can continue. "...this past year and eight months has been wonderful and amazing. You have brought so much joy into my life. You are an amazing mother and women. I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with you."

I am speechless, tears roll down my cheeks then I gasp when Robert suddenly gets down on one knee, holding a tiny black velvet box in his hand.

Robert opens the box to reveal the most stunning ring I have ever seen. He smiles and asks. "Stephanie Lynn Nicks...will you marry me?"

I nod my head enthusiastically because I'm too overcome with emotion. But last second and I say. "Yes! Yes, Robert, I'll marry you!"

Robert chuckles and puts the ring on my left hand. He stands up and kisses my lips passionately.

He pulls away and says. "The kids are going to be happy to our news."
"Sara and Victoria know?" I ask.
"They do! That's why they were so eager for us to leave." Roberts says with a laugh. "I asked them first if it was okay."

I chuckle and it makes sense now why my children were acting so strange.

"You're father will be glad to know what your answer was as well." He says and he holds me tightly.
"Daddy?" I say surprised. "My father knows too?"
"Yes, your father also knows. One day while you were busy in the studio, I flew to Phoenix just to ask for your father's blessing in person. We talked and he said yes." Robert says.

Fresh tears roll down my cheeks but my smile never leaves my face. Robert really is the most amazing man on this earth.

I can now say that Robert Anthony Plant is the love of my life.
