happily (a niall horan fanfiction )

chapter 5

it has been a week since our sleepover and niall had texted me asking if i wanted to go out for a meal with him tonight which of course i agreed to.

'mollie come here a minute' my mum called

i walked downstairs

'can you please tell me who your going on a date with?' my mum asked me

'niall' i replied 

'niall who ?' she asked

'niall horan' i answered

i turnt round to see jessica stood there shocked

'oh my god my stepsister is going on a date with niall fucking horan' she screamed

'jessica language' my mum warned

once we had fineshed talking to jessica about why she cant swear , i went upstairs to get ready.

i chose a white peplum dress with nude heels and my watch , gold earings with matching clutch. i started on my makeup which consisted of foundation bronzer blush red lipstick champage coloured eye-shadow and mascara my hair was in a fishtail braid . 

new message recieved ;niall horan <3

i am round the cornor shall i come to the door or ?

to niall horan<3 

yes come to the door because my mum will want to see you before we goxx.

i went downstairs to wait 

'oh hunny you look beautiful' my mum cooed

'thank you' i said

'you look really pretty mollie' charles stated

'thanks wheres jess?' i asked

'shes in the living room' they replied 

i walked into the living room to see jess when the door bell rung

jess leaped up to answer it but i pushed her out of the way

'no mollie i want to see who your date is ' she screamed

'tough mum get jess shes being rude' i shouted then opened the door to reveal niall 

jessicas face was in shock my mum came over and gave him a hug and charles shook his hand

'right mum were going now ' i said and then me and niall walked out of the door.

when we arrived at the restraunt , there were lots of one direction fans waiting outside alongside paps .

'keep your head down dont say anything and hold my hand at all times' he told me instructions and i nodded

i followed everything he said and got through the door in one peice alot of people were asking who i was but neither me or niall answered.

we were took over to our table 

'hello im madeline and im your waitress for tonight heres your menus can  i get you any drinks?' she asked

'ill have a red wine please' i answered

'ill have a lemonade please' niall said

she took our orders and then walked away

'what not drinking ?' i asked

'nope im driving you home and i dont want to get pulled over for drink driving' he laughed

'oh yeah' i chuckled

i looked over the menue and chose a chicken salad

madeline came back with our drinks

'okay have you decided what you would like to eat?' she asked

'umm yes ill have a steak please with chips and peas' niall said

'ill have the chicken salad with ceaser sauce please' 

she nodded and then walked away

'so who was you shouting at when i was at the door?' he asked

'oh that was my step-sister jessica , shes a bitch' i laughed

'thats not nice what has she ever done to you' he asked

'well put it this way i went to a wedding once and i was wearing a white dress she poured red wine all over it, umm locked me in a wardrobe for the night. but shes my mum and stepdads darling daughter she wouldnt hurt a fly' i stated

'okay now i understand why you called her a bitch' he laughed

'so have you got any friends near by?' niall asked

'yeah i have one friend aliza but shes in america with her mum for a year ' i replied remebering the fun times me and aliza used to have 

'so have you always lived in london?' he asked

'no my familys originaly from bristol my dads side is from kent but we dont speak about my dad' i spoke 

'if you dont mind me asking why dont you speak about your dad' he asked unsure of what i would say

'oh of course not 2 years ago my mother had a miscarriage and my dad left and blamed the baby death on her , because apparently my mum didnt look after herself properly' i said remebering the day my dad left us.

our food arrived not long after and it waas delicious, we didnt bother with desert because we were so full i got my purse out ready to pay for my food but niall had already payed

it was 10;35

' i had a really nice evening with you tonight thank you' i thanked niall when we arrived outside my house

'no problem i enjoyed it alot, thank you for coming' he kissed my cheek

'well i better get going in thanks again i will text you soon' i said then got out of the car waving him goodbye.

when i opened the door my mum was walking into the kitchen with jessica who had a bloody nose

'hey honey did you have a nice time' she asked

'yes it was really good what happened to jess?' i asked

'she fell into the fire place' my mum laughed and i joined in which resuleted in me getting evil eyes from jess
