Abel:
I stared at my phone through the thick haze of smoke that filled my room. On my screen was a picture of Selena with Justin Bieber.

We just broke up two days ago and she had already moved on, which just confirmed to me what I already knew.

Selena clearly didn't love me like I thought she did which was fucked up considering she wanted my damn kidney.

My phone started to ring and Lamar's name popped up on my screen.

"Hello?"

"Let me in Bro."

"Alright, give me a second."

I hung up, got out of bed and went downstairs to get the door.

"You aint hear me knocking?" Lamar asked as he walked in.

"No, my bad."

"Are you alright?"

I shrugged. "I just seen the pics of Selena and Justin."

"Ooh.."

"It hasn't even been a week bro." I sat on the couch and ran a hand through my hair. "I can't believe this shit...I don't even know what to do."

"I know what you should do."

"What?"

"Take all this pain and shit and do what you do best. Turn it into music."

"You really think I should?"

"Hell yeah, take all the pain from Bella and all the pain from Selena and just let it out bro. I'm sure it'll make you feel better."

I nodded. "I'ma call DaHeala later."

"That's what I'm talking about." He said with a smile. "And maybe we should hit Lost and Found tonight and find a bitch or two."

"Nah, you can do without me. I'm gonna stay here and write or something."

"Alright...Call me if you need anything."

I nodded. "Alright, see you tomorrow."

He left and I went back upstairs to my room. I grabbed my notebook from my nightstand before sitting on my bed and beginning to write.

"First thing's first, a title..." I thought to myself before finally coming up with one. "My Dear Melancholy...."
