Myliah:
I waited up half the night waiting for Abel to show up but he never did. I assumed he either felt bad and decided not to come or Bella wouldn't let him out of her sight.

I looked out my window as I made breakfast and saw that Abel's Jeep wasn't there which obviously meant he wasn't at the beach house.

I picked up my phone and was ready to text him but stopped.

"Should I text him?" I asked myself out loud. "No, he's probably just out with Bella...but I do wanna know why he didn't come over like he was supposed to...but I also don't wanna seem clingy..."

I kept arguing back and forth with myself until I heard the front door open.

"Liah!" I heard my friend Kyra yell. "Where are you?!"

"In the kitchen!"

A few seconds later she entered the kitchen with a huge smile on her face.

"Sooo, how'd you date go last night?!"

"Good. I-"

"Is he still here? Are you making breakfast for you two?"

"No...Nick didn't stay the night."

"What the fuck? Why not?!"

"I told him he could go home."

"But why?! If I were you I woulda been riding him like I was a cowboy in the wild wild west!"

I laughed. "Well you want me to tell you the truth?"

"Of course."

"I told him to go home because I had plans with someone else after he left."

"With Abel?"

I nodded. "Yeah."

"So...did you fuck him?"

"No...he never came. I think Bella probably trapped him in the house or something."

"Did you ask him what happened?"

"No, I haven't had a chance to talk to him yet."

"So I'm confused, do you like Nick and Abel? Or are you and Nick just friends or what's the situation?"

"I'm just friends with both of them right now...Abel's in a relationship and he says he wants to leave her but I don't think he will and Nick and I are still in our "talking" phase. We're not dating yet."

"Ooh 'yet'?"

"Yeah, I really do like him and he's fine as fuck. I just need to sort out what's going on between Abel and I first before-"

My phone vibrated on the counter and when I picked it up, I saw a message from Abel.

Abel🤞🏾: Hey, I just wanted to let you know that Bella and I left Hawaii last night. We're together and working on our relationship now so I don't need you in my life anymore and I don't want you to contact me again. Don't bother texting me back because I'm blocking your number after I send this.
