Chapter 9

Abel:
I woke up and was surprised to see Bella still lying in bed next to me. I was expecting her to already be gone but certainly didn't mind that she was still there.

"Bella? You up?"

She rolled over and smiled at me. "Yeah."

I just stared at her as I tried to gather my thoughts. How the hell did us getting drinks together become us waking up next to each other? What did this mean? Did she just wanna fuck me then start ignoring me again?

"Abel?"

"Huh?"

"You okay?"

"Yeah...I was just thinking, like...what are we doing?"

She answered nonchalantly. "Enjoying ourselves."

"No, I mean what does this mean for our relationship? Like if you just wanna fuck with no strings attached, I don't think I can do that. I really love you Bella and if I'm going to be with you, I wanna be with you."

"So you wanna get back together?"

"Yes...do you?"

"I don't know..."

"Why don't you know?"

"I mean, I still have feelings for you Abel but I think we should just let the past be the past."

"But why? What we had together was amazing and yeah there were a few bumps along the road but every couple has their problems. I think we could really make things work if you just gave us another chance..."

"Okay...but this time I want things to be different."

"Different how?"

"First of all, I don't want you messing with other girls. Secondly, I want us to spend more time together and less time in the spot light."

"That's fine. I'm not talking to-"

My phone started to ring on the nightstand and she reached over to pick it up.

"Who's Liah and why does she have the sun emoji next to her name?"

"She's just a friend of mine. I think you'd really like her if you guys met."

"Why would I wanna meet one of your hoes?"

"No, no, no. Liah isn't like that, she's seriously just a friend. She's the one that's been telling me to talk to you so we can work things out."

"Hmm...okay." She said as she sat my phone back down and climbed out of bed. "I've got to go so I can get ready for later."

"You want me to save you a seat near me and the crew?"

"Yeah."

She put on her clothes and leaned down to give me a kiss before walking out my hotel room.

I reached over and grabbed my phone. I tapped on Liah's name to text her back.
