Myliah:
I walked onto the beach and my eyes scanned the countless amount of people until they landed on Nick sitting by himself.

Him and I hadn't seen each other in a few days so he asked me to meet him out so we could talk.

I walked over to where he was and sat across from him.

He smiled. "Hey babe."

"Hey Nick."

"I didn't think you were coming...you haven't been responding to my text."

"I'm sorry...I've just needed some time to think."

"About what?"

"About us. Like what hell was that the other day? I thought we had a connection and I wanted our first time together to be special and you ruined it."

"I'm sorry baby...I just..." He sighed heavily. "Can I be honest with you?"

"Sure."

"I'm just not really...experienced when it comes to that kind of stuff...so-"

"To what? Sex?"

"Yeah...Like I'm not a virgin, I just haven't been with a lot of girls so I don't really know what to do, you know?"

"I'm not that experienced either Nick but that's why we're supposed to communicate. You tell me what you like, I tell you what I like and we work it out from there."

He nodded. "Will you let me make it up to you? I don't wanna lose you over this...I love you."

"You do?"

"Yes."

I was fully prepared to tell him we should just be friends but after hearing what he said I kind of felt bad and wanted to give him a second chance.

"Liah?"

"Huh?"

"You just zoned out. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm sorry. What-"

"Li do you have feelings for anyone else?"

"No, what makes you think that?"

" 'Cause we were apart for so long...and I trust you but I was always worried that you'd find someone that could be here with you all the time. And I just told you I love you and it seems like you don't even care."

"I do care. I just wasn't expecting you to say that...And as much as I would love to have you here with me all the time, I know you can't be and that's alright." I smiled at him. "The time we do get to spend together is good enough for me."

He smiled too. "So, do I get a second chance?"

"Yes."

"Good." He pulled me closer to him and gave me a kiss. "What are you doing later?"

"Nothing. Why?"

"Good, be ready by seven so we can go out."

"Out where?"
