The Pureblood...Demon?!

Chapter 24

"My dearest Kitten, are you ready to depart?"

"Not quite yet!!! I still have a couple more things to grab!"

"Such as?"

"The little bag of catnip I got from the market! I can't seem to find it anywhere..."

"... Catnip?"

"Yeah, I figured I'd try some. Last night, I ate a little, but I can't seem to recall what happened next. I was able to find the bag this morning... but I can't seem to find the previous contents."

"..."

Looking towards Sebby once he failed to respond, I noticed him warily eyeing the torn furniture. I'm to sure as to what happened to it, as it was fine just last night, but it seems as if someone drug rather long claws (or short knifes) all upon the furniture. That's not even bringing up the curtains, which has somehow been turned into long, thin pieces of fabric. Thin pieces of fabric that has, strangely, been bundled up into a pile. It also happens to be where I woke up this morning. How odd.

"Sebastian! Why are you in Ivy's room! Have I not command you to ready the carriage for our departure?"

"Indeed you have, My Lord. Its just... I seem to have run into a bit of trouble."

"And that requires you to be present in Ivy's room?"

"You are quite right, My Lord."

"Just what on Earth could require you to ha-"

Just then, Ciel walked into my room and stopped talking. His eyes scanned the room, briefly pausing on the curtains and the multiple puncture holes in the walls.

"Ivy... did you try to bite the walls... repetitively?"

"I'm not sure... I can't recall anything much about what occurred last night. Also, I'm still trying to find by bloody catnip."

"Catnip? As in the plant?"

"Yep."

"Ivy, you are aware of what that does to a cat... correct?"

"Yeah. Cats act sorta strange when they eat some. The lady at the market told me that her cat gets really laid back after she fed him some catnip."

"Ivy, you are aware that you are a cat demon... correct?"

"No, I'm a Vamon. A Pureblood vampire and a cat demon mixed. ...Would I still qualify as a pureblood vampire then? I mean, I still have the abilities of one, but technically I am now also a demon, so the word pureblood doesn't exactly fit..."

"Ivy. You are part CAT demon, and you brought catnip, meant to DRUG cats, into your home."

"Catnip drugs cats?!"

"...What do you think it did?!?!"

"I dunno, make the cats happy?"

"By drugging them."

"Ehh... EHH?!?! Ciel!!! Sebby!!! I did drugs!!!"

"You ATE the catnip?!"

"Indeed she has, Young Master. From what she said, she ate some and then doesn't remember anything else until she woke up this morning."

"..."

"Hey Sebby, does this mean that I could have been the one to cause my room to become a tad torn up?"

"It is quite likely that it was you, yes. In addition, it appears that you may have also consumed the remainder of the catnip."

"Aww... that's misfortunate. It was really tasty too... Perhaps I should go out and buy some more before we leave."
