Chapter 4
Cameron's POV
Our buzzer buzzed for our food. I was so glad that changed the subject. Talking about getting hate on social media was really bringing me down. "I'll get it," Alexya said. "Ok," I said. I kinda liked when she smiled, it was nice. I had seen her on TV but I had never thought I would actually meet her this way. She was a lot better than how she had seemed. As she came out all I could focus on was her caramel colored skin. It was the prettiest skin color I have ever seen. I didn't even notice that she had smiled on some water and fell right into me with all of our food on my shirt. Was this really happening? The third time in 2 days. This time she was on top of me. She was light weighted but I had a hard fall and probably a million bruises on my back from the passed 2 days. I wanted to tell her that she was hurting my back and she should get off. "Are you ok?" She said as she looked up. I looked straight into her brown eyes. "I am now" is what I was thinking, what I wanted to say. "Don't worry about me. Are you ok? That was a hard fall," I said instead. We both got up from each other and looked at my potato covered shirt. We both laughed. "That was all my fault I'm so sorry!! Let me make it up to you," she said. She took some potato off my shirt then smeared it around hers. We both laughed. Besides Karan, I didn't have friends on set. I liked hanging out with Alexya.
Alexya's POV:
We both laughed at each other. Having a friend my age was something I needed. He understood me. We both came from the same background and understand each other. I look at the time. "We should get back to set!!" I said. We both ran together back, I won, of course but it was fun. "Now what are they going to say about our clothes," he said.
When the day ended I gave Cameron my number so I could be in touch with him. That's what I wanted.
