Chapter 7

Alexus's POV:

I quickly released my lips from Cameron's. What were we doing!! I don't like him!! We are just friends! I snapped back to reality and almost pushed him away from me. He started then realized the camera men around us. We ran as fast as we could. "What would they want from a boy from Disney?!?" I snap. "They don't want me..they want you," he said. I finally realize it's reality again and all of the movies and commercials and shows I have been in. We finally run where we see houses and jump a fence. When we are over the fence we hide behind the bush. "What were you doing?! Why'd you kiss me?!" I yell and gently push his chest. "What? You kissed me back." He began. "Whatever happened pretend it never did. I can't get in drama like this Cam! My reputation will be everywhere and people won't know me as Alexya Jenners anymore. I'll be that troubled famous child people warn their kids about!" I begin to sob placing my head in my hands. "You are over thinking. No one will think that. Why do you care so much about saving your own reputation? What about other people's feelings. What about my feelings?" Cameron said. The sadness in his voice made me cry harder. "Cameron stop just give it up. We can't be a thing. We are cast members. Paparazzi knows everything and if that picture ends up anywhere it will be the last of me! As much as I like you I have only known you for 3 days. I can't love you. We are only 14! I'm sorry," I lean back on the fence to get more comfortable.

We lean on the fence in silence for ten more minutes. Cameron sighs very heavily ever 5 seconds but doesn't cry at all. "So this is it I guess? Nothing more than friends?" He breaks the silence. I nod my head. "Gotcha," he says. "This night never happened," he says. "Never ever," I repeat. "Alright, just don't be mad at me. We are just friends. We can be good friends. But we can't be more than friends. Let's shake on that," he holds his hand out. I shake it. A few seconds later it almost seems like his about to kiss me again bc he comes forward. But then I notice that he's reaching over to cover my mouth!! What?!
