Chapter 29

Alexya's POV:

After rehearsal my mom entered the building to pick me up. "Jeff wants to speak to me in the conference room," I say. "Okay should I come in with you?" She asks. "I'm fine I'll text you when I'm out," I say and hold up my phone so she knows I have it. She gives me a thumbs up then walks straight out the door. Before I enter the conference room, I take a few deep breaths hoping not to cry. He couldn't make it more obvious that he was talking about me being off the show. I slowly open the door but the lights are off. As soon as I'm about ready to walk out the lights flicker on fast and a ton of people pop out yelling "surprise!" The whole cast of JESSIE, the crew and camera men, and xmob are all jumping from behind curtains and under tables. I almost have a heart attack on the spot. "What's this about?" I say as I look around at the streamers and cake. "Why don't you read to see," Cameron walks over to me with a piece of paper grinning. I couldn't help but blush at that adorable face. "Dear all, we are excited to tell that the recent character played by Alexya has gained attention to the media and we would like to know if it wouldn't be much trouble for her to be back in the Disney show JESSIE. This time for good," I read out loud from the paper. I jump up and down screaming and I throw myself onto Cameron. He hugs me so relieved.

Cameron's POV:

Alexya does something I would have never thought her to do. She runs and hugs me and I hug her back. The moment dies when Jeff joins the hug and everyone else and it turns into a group hug. Well it was good while it lasted.

After the party I take Alexya outside to talk to her alone. "You don't know how happy I am, I thought I would loose you forever," I say. Pouring my feelings out to her made me feel safe. "Cameron I never thought you would care so much. I remember the first time I met you, you ran into me and now here we are. I thought you didn't have feelings and just another actor but you are so much more," Alexya says. "You've made me the person I always wanted to be and all I can say is thanks," I smile. After awhile she says "you're welcome." The delayed reaction makes me blush, but then I kiss her. This time I don't think I love her. I know it.
