Alexya's House

Chapter 17

Alexya's POV:

The next morning was Sunday. Last day of the weekend, then back to set of JESSIE. I pace around my room thinking about Cameron. I had mixed feelings about him and I didn't know how to express them. I didn't have many friends until he came along. I sent Cameron a text message "do you want to hang out today?" I'll take the risk. He responds yes. I wait a few minutes for him to come. When my mom answers the door she looks suspicious. "This is Cameron, a cast member. We were going to run lines," I lie. I hate lying. "Alright..." She says and let's him in. We walk upstairs to my room without saying a word. He takes off his jacket and hangs it along the chair at my desk. "Hey, I don't know where to begin, so I'll just say I have so mixed feelings for you," I start. He sighs looking really annoyed. "Can I start with I like you. You don't have to like me but the kiss and everything.

Felt so real, like you actually cared," he says. "I do care a lot," I say. I sit on my bed. "Please tell me now, if you want to be something. Nobody has to know," he says. He sits on my bed. I had to think about that question. "Yes. Believe it our not you are the very first person I have ever liked," I smile. "Oh. Thank you. A lot," he blushes. I burst out laughing then lay back on my bed. "What?" He says. "We are only 15!!" I say. "Well than that's a great beginning," he smiles. It gets really quiet so I get up and turn on the radio and Happy by Pherrel Williams happens to play. "Ooh XMOB is doing something with this song in dub step remix," Cameron says. "That's cool," I smile. Cameron and I immediately get a text message at the exact same time. I read it out loud and each word I go I get happier. "Season 4 episode 1 of JESSIE is at the top charts for kids shows!!!" I scream. Cameron jumps up. We have a 5 second dance party to the song Happy until my mom comes in. "Doesn't sound like running lines to me," my mom says. I show her my phone screen and every word her voice gets louder until she's laugh/ screaming of joy and soon joins the mini dance party. Cameron and I take dorky selfies to post on Instagram for the success. This was the first successful show I had been on!

Cameron's POV:

After staying at Alexya's house for 2 hours I put my jacket on about to leave. She opens the door to her home to let me out. I turn around to say, "We all truly are glad you are part of the cast, it's really great to have you," I say. "I'm so glad to be part of the family," she says. She closes the door behind me. I look down at my phone and see that it's still open to photos. I debate if I should post our selfie. I decide yes, I'm not much of an instagrammer, but this is worth it. "Thanks friends and fans for getting JESSIE at the top of the charts it means a lot to us" I post on twitter. I get a text from Karan.

K: so you hung out with Alexya today?

C: Yeah, how did you know?

K: you instagrammed it

C: oh right. Haha.

K: are you guys dating?

C: I wouldn't say dating...I would just say we share feelings for each other.

K: have you kissed?

C: stop the questions lol.

K: haha sorry. See ya.

C: later

That was a good question, are we dating? I have never had a girlfriend. I would want it to be her. But I respect her decisions. I kiss Alexya's face on my screen, bc I have already done it in real life too many times.
