Truth or Dare?

Chapter 13

Alexya's POV:

Cameron and Karan come back to our area. Cam pics up a pebble and flicks it into the water with his wrist. The pebble skips 3 times then sinks to the bottom of the ocean floor. "I never understood how you can do that," Skai stood up from her beach chair. "Yea Cameron teach us," Peyton gets up as well. "Alright...well you have to take a flat rock. Maybe not a shell because it has a curve in it. Than through it like a frisby into the water but flick your wrist as well almost like throwing it into the water too," Cameron says. I get up to try because everyone else is. Karan skips one on his first try. "Your a natural!!" Peyton claps. "Ugh I can't do this somebody skip this thing for me," Skai pouts. Karan skips one for her. I still haven't gotten it but nobody has noticed. "You know it's really great to have a new cast member here...especially since it was getting lonely here with just the four of us," Peyton smiles. "I'm glad to be here. It's my first time on children's television," I say. "Well it's great to have you," the sound of Cameron's voice surprises me because he hasn't said a word to me at all. "Hey let's play truth or dare!!" Peyton screams.

Cameron's POV:

We get in a circle near our beach blankets and chairs and umbrellas. This beach is empty by now except for us and our parents on the other side of the beach. "Cameron truth or dare?" Peyton asks. "Truth," I said. I wanted to play it safe this round. "What was it like kissing Alexya?" She smiles. I can feel myself burning up. I don't know what Alexya would want me to say but she looks like somebody just shot her in the heart. Should I say the truth? Or should I play it cool? "Easy, our characters are supposed to be in love, so when I'm on the set, I kiss her like I'm in love," I say. I hope that was a good answer even though Alexya looked the other direction when I answered. I didn't want to mention that her lips taste like strawberries and I loved pushing her hair back bc it reminded me of my friend Lauryns hair. And how gentle she was. "But did you like it?" Peyton asks. I turn quickly to Karan for back up. He quietly shrugs his shoulders. "It was my first kiss I am not sure how they are supposed to feel," I said. "Magical," Peyton said. "If you like it then you are supposed to enjoy, be able to come back for more," she said. "Um..I don't know. I wouldn't say magical but it wasn't bad. I was just doing my job. Acting." I let out trying to end the conversation. "But how--" "That's enough," I interrupt Peyton. "Ok... Alexya how did it feel to you?" She asks. Oh no Alexya!! You don't have to say it!

Alexya's POV:

"It didn't feel like anything. I was just doing my job," I say. His kisses are wonderful though. Like small swans dancing on or around your lips. Traveling place to place. I wish I could tell them, I really wish I could. Cameron flashes a smile at me when nobody is looking.
