Psychotic Thoughts (On Hold)

Chapter 2

(Mackenzie's POV)

Matthew had taken me to my first class, and he happened to have the same homeroom as me

We arrive at the class and we walk in. Once inside we both take seats at the back, to avoid attention, that failed though

A boy who looked to be taller than me walks up, he had short brown hair that looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a week, he had dark brown eyes and tan skin, and a creepy pedi stash

"Hey there Matthew, finally got yourself a girlfriend?" The boy spits at Matthew "Oh wait, she's way to hot to be your girlfriend, my bad."

"Austin I suggest you leave them alone." A boy from across the room says, it was that other guy from last night

"Shut up David. Oh wait, I just remembered another reason she can't be your girlfriend, you're a fagot." He spits at Matthew

Matthew didn't say anything, he just took the insults and this caused Austin to speak again

"What?! You not gonna say anything gay boy?! Come on say something!"

This caused me to snap "Austin, fuck off. You're lowering his IQ just by talking to him."

"Whach ya gonna do pretty girl?" He snarls looking at me

I then stand up and go up to him, I then punch him in the stomach "that's for treating me like I'm a piece of property-" and then knee him I'm the face when he bends down in pain "and that's for calling Matthew a fagot!"

By this point the whole class was watching in shock

I then grab him by the hair and pull his head so I can speak into his ear "mess with him or me again and I won't hesitate to brake a bone."

I then release his hair and he falls to the floor and I take a seat back in my chare as everyone looks at me

He stumbles back up to his feet "Y-Your insane!" He yells

"I know, thank you." I say giving a smile

He then goes back to his seat and everyone goes back to there own business

I then see a tall, blonde lady walk in, following behind her was Jared, the guy I beat up last night

He goes and takes a seat in the front, his face clearly damaged from last night. He makes eye contact with Austin as if to say 'what happened to you?'

He then nods back at me and Jared looks and sees me and looks shocked, yet amused

I just ignore them and listen to the teacher speak

By the end of Maths class I had calmed down

The bell went and Tekla and I stood up, heading towards the door

Once out of the class Matthew spoke

"We have next different classes, but your next one is just that way." He says pointing down the hall

"Okay, I'll see you at lunch?"

"Yep, meet me in the cafeteria."

I nod and head down the hall. I arrive in the class and take a seat, it was French, ugh I hated French

About half way through the class I ask to leave to use the washroom

I only had my bage (which contained my books) so I went to take it with me and told the teacher I had a 'lady problem' and he let me out

Jeez adults are stupid

I walk out to the court yard and sit under a big oak tree and I pull out my sketchbook

I start sketching when I hear something in the tree move

I stop my movements and look up, I couldn't see anything through the leaves but I knew it was there

Then out of no where something- or should I say someone- falls out on-top of me

The person stutters to her feet and looks at me nervously I examine her and notice how her wavy black hair is full of leaves, and her brown eyes look full of fear

"I'm so so so so sorry oh my god are you okay?! Did I hurt you? I'm so sorry!" She rushes out

"Its fine it's fine, don't worry about it." I say as I set my stuff aside and stand up "I'm Kenzie." I say putting my had out for her to shake it

"I'm P-porchia." She says shaking my hand

"Like the car?" I say with a little laughe

She giggls "yes, exactly like the car."

"Well, may I ask what you were doing in the tree?"

"I was trying to get peep out, she's being a little shit."

"Who?"

She points up "my cat, they let me keep her cuz she's my support animal, yes she's supposed to stay in my room but the fucker got out."

"Sounds like fun, do you want some help?" I ask

"Yes please that would be amazing."

I nod and go over to my bag and pull out some catnip and approch the tree

I climb up and go to the branch peep is on. I set down the catnip and peep approches

Once she's in front of my I gently pick her up and hop out of the tree, handing peep to Porchia

"Thank you, but uh why did you have-"

I cut her off "don't ask, it's best not to."

She nods and speaks again "So, your new?"

"How does everyone keep guessing?"

"Around here, everyone knows everyone, and I don't know you, meaning you must be new."

"Well, you're right there."

"Yep, it's also cuz the headmaster said I was getting a new roommate and I saw your stuff in my room this morning and your name was on it so yeah."

"Hey, that's cheating!" I say jokingly

"Na. Anyways, what are you in for?"

"Depression, eating disorder, psychotic thoughts. What about you?"

"Depression and anxiety."

"Interesting. So, wanna hang out till lunch then? Like hell I'm going back to French class." I say looking down at the shorter girl

"Let's just hang out here then."
