To sum up my day in two words, it would have to be: School sucks. Anyway, I am high school second year Clair Ford, and to start I will tell you about my day...
"Hey Clair wait up!" my best friend Amanda exclaimed while sprinting down the street.
"Alright, but why were you so late today anyways?" I asked her.
"Well I was just looking up something on the net, and the coolest game just came out today!! Can you believe it? It is called Swords Online, and I heard it is the coolest thing ever!" She said, and practically all in one breath too.
I won't tell her, but I actually beta-tested the game myself for two months. In those months, I felt so alive and free (unlike now, because school has started...). I had the liberty to be anyone, and not the brown-haired, brown-eyed person I am. Being able to use a sword to take you anywhere was the most exciting thing in my whole life.
"Yoohoo? Clair? Anybody hoome?" she said tirelessly.
"Huh? Sorry, spaced out there didn't I?" I replied.
"Yeah, you did... Anyway, did you finish the homework last night? I barely got done myself." she explained with a sigh. My friend Amanda has light brown hair and blue eyes, and she also wears some silver rimmed glasses as well.
"Yes, I got it done eventually, but it was kinda hard though..." I said, "And I was distracted by a lot of things too."
As we approached the school, I realized that this was going to be a long day.
To sum it up, (without the boring details), periods 1-5 were boring and, lucky me, no homework. Periods 6 and 7 were study periods, and since I had nothing better to do I sat and thought about SSO or Swords Online.
Swords Online is about to launch today, Monday, August 14th, 2020. I was lucky enough to get chosen for the beta out of 15,000 applicants, and the 1,000 players who were chosen had the time of their lives. During the beta, I got farther in the game than anyone else did, and I also got stronger and faster than most of the players who tested the game. Swords Online isn't just a game, it's a whole new reality to me.
