Chapter 42

Finally, Khushi broke her silence and spoke to Arnav.

Khushi: If not for the sake of this marriage, come in for the sake of your di, Arnavji.

Saying that, Khushi was about to leave when Arnav called her.

Arnav: Khushi...

As soon as Khushi turned her face to face him, he continued.

Arnav: wait, I am coming.

Arnav put on his coat, took his cell out of the car, locked it and moved towards Khushi.

Arnav: Shall we go inside?

Khushi nodded her head and both of them paved their way into the hall. As soon as he entered the hall along with Khushi, Anjali came and stood in front of them.

Anjali: Good that you have come inside, Chotte. Now that you have entered in already, why cant you wish the new couple as well..

Arnav was about to reject the offer and go away... when one of the other employee of AR factory cum Krishna's friend named Neil came towards him.

Neil: Arnav sir.... (He called). Its great to see you here. Please do come and congratulate Krishna.

Before Arnav could say something very harsh, Anjali continued.

Anjali: He need to make an urgent call, it seems. So please, if you don't mind, Neil, we would come in a while. (She covered up for her brother)

Neil: OK madam, its fine. Yours and Arnav sir's presence itself means a lot to us. Thanks for coming.

He says with a smile and Anjali reciprocates the same.

Anjali(continuing): By the way, Neil... She is Khushi Kumari Gupta and she works in AR's main branch. (Anjali introduces Khushi to Neil)

While Neil was about to give a shake hand, Khushi folded her hands to say 'Namaste' and when Neil started to say a 'Namaste', Khushi stretched her hand forward to give a hand shake. Both of them smiled and finally they had a shake hand.

Neil: Ok madam, I think my wife would be waiting for me. so I should leave now.

Anjali: Oh, so your wife Vimla is also here?(Anjali asks as she met Vimla before)

Neil: yes, madam.

Anjali(to Khushi): Khushiji, I would be back within 5mins, Ok? You and Chotte stay here.

Anjali spoke to Khushi and walked along with Neil to meet Vimla. As soon as Anjali walked away, Arnav moved towards Khushi.

Arnav: Let's get seated somewhere.

Khushi nods her head and both of them moves towards a small garden like open area which is present in the function hall only. Winds started blowing and the cool air hit their faces directly. There could be nothing more beautiful than this feel she is having right now, thought Khushi. While Khushi is busy in feeling the freshness of the air, Arnav is busy in observing Khushi.... her dupatta flying in the air, her hair blocking her beautiful face and her closed eyes...may be to feel the weather... thought Arnav. A smile appeared on Khushi's face which in turn brought a smile on Arnav's face too.    They are walking together like this slowly... and then, Khushi turned to face Arnav, suddenly.

Khushi: Arnavji.... (She uttered with a smile but saw Arnav watching her with his full concentration and his face adored with a smile).

Khushi also met his eyes and stopped her words in middle. Their eyes locked for few seconds and Arnav started the conversation again.
