"I'm scared," Rye said as i got in his car.

"We don't have to tell him right now, y'know," i said to him as i leaned over to kiss his cheek.

"It's better sooner rather than later though, isn't it?" he questioned with a deep breath.

It was Friday, and Ryan had picked me up to take me into work, and we were going to tell Beaumont about us. I was scared too, but I tried not to show it as we walked into work.

I went straight into Beaumont's office as Rye went to speak to Jack before our shifts started.

"Good morning, how can I help?" he asked after letting me in.

"I kinda need to tell you something," i said slowly. The plan was for me to tell him, as he probably wouldn't flip out on me - at least, yet - and then Ryan would come in and we'd gauge his reaction.

"Yes?" he smiled, gesturing for me to sit down.

"I'm not sure just how much this will affect you but we feel like it's the right time to tell you," i started, stalling a little.

However, Rye walked in at that moment and before his dad could kick him out, he said, "wait!" and turned to me, "did you tell him yet?"

I shook my head and he pulled me to stand up. "What's going on here?" Beaumont asked.

Ryan took a deep breath and looked from his dad to me, back to his dad, "we're dating, me and Ella."

"What?" he questioned, looking between the two of us.

I nodded slowly and Rye spoke up again, "we're dating, we're together - Blair knows."

He raised a brow, opening his mouth to speak before changing his mind. He looked at me and glanced at the clock, "you can get to work now, Ella, thank you."

I nodded and turned to leave, mumbling a "see you later" to Rye as he smiled at me sheepishly.

"How'd it go?" Jack raised a brow as he saw me.

"I'm not sure," i admitted, "he went 'what?' and then sent me out to work."

"So he didn't fire you?"

"Nope," i chuckled, "i guess that's a good sign, right?"

"Can't be a bad one," he pointed out.

Rye was in the office with his dad until lunch, which scared me. As soon I saw him open the door, I almost sprinted over, "what did he say? Is he okay? Are we good? What happened? Is he mad?"

"Babe, calm down," he chuckled, pulling me into a hug and kissing my head, "we're good."

"What did he say?" i pulled him close and kissed his cheek.

"He's cool with it as long it doesn't fuck anything else up; I can't let anything get in the way of the band, and you can't let anything get in the way of work," he explained, "but he's alright with it apart from that."

I sighed with relief, "good. So we're good?"

"We're perfect, baby," he said softly and kissed my nose, "he did tell me to avoid the PDA though.."

I gave him a quick kiss and pulled away, smirking as i went to Jack.

He followed and we filled Jack in on the situation. We sat together for the rest of our lunch break, "so why were you there so long?" Jack asked after a while.

"He wanted details," Rye chuckled, "how long we've been together and stuff and I told him about Blair and the band and us falling out and stuff, and I think that's why he was so okay with it... he can see that I love her."

I couldn't help but smile to myself when he said that, "i love you too, Beaumont."

"Get a room," Jack teased.
