Chapter 9

Good ol'zeus! This is a dream come true. Cube Ent, JYP Ent, FNC Ent, and of course in all its glory the SM Ent. There are few fans chilling outside the building no need to guess. I know they're waiting for their idols to come. What a hard job they picked though. I heard that idols are rarely spotted here. You're really lucky if you do. Says by a fan who was so close with two members of EXO. I felt my cheeks blushed. Dawn and I took a picture of the four buildings then went to SM Town Coex Artium. "Good ol'zeus!" Dawn and I said in sync. This is heaven! Dawn and I were restraining our shrieks due to over excitement.

"Dawn, I'm dreaming. Don't wake me up." I said while scanning the place. I can see EXO everywhere and of course other SM artists that I stan but... EXO. My attention is solely to EXO. I'm obsess? I know. "Likewise, Ace. Don't wake me up either." SMTOWN is a must-see place for K-pop fans its an entertainment space full of meetings and various experiences of SM entertainment stars. On the entrance we took an escalator and casually took right. EXO paper toys were displayed outside. Dawn and I immediately snap pictures standing beside each member but of course bias goes first. Me to Se Hun and she to Kai.

Next we went up to the second floor and checked out the popular SUM celebrity shop. It's a merchandise store that has everything you could ever need or desire, complete with your SMTOWN artist of choice! Besides official artist goods, the store also offers products endorsed by SM Entertainment stars as well as random products that the celebrities enjoy. There's even a display that conveniently shows you which items are currently the most popular. Among the ones presently displayed are the EXO paper toys, clear tumblers, Super Junior's Super Nuts, various folders, photo cards, and artist pillows. From candy to shoes and posters to earpieces, there's so much to look at here. Dawn purchased EXO potato chips. Yes, you heard that right. EXO has a potato chips. She bought one for me too. I don't want to but she insists. You know Dawn...

The next stop was the third floor —The SMTOWN Studio. We just looked around and took pictures of the standees and the place. It's not the actual SMTOWN studio but that's what it looks like. We went up to the fourth floor. Dawn's step-brother told us that we could take a rest there and chill out. He said also that it's a cafe. SMTOWN's LIVErary Cafe to be exact. The cafe offers a variety of sweet desserts like macarons, cookies, cupcakes, and more. Standard cafe drinks are also available. Most notably, they have a selection of "artist ades" which are fruity carbonated drinks named after various SM artists. Dawn ordered Girls Generation ade (rose flavor), Her brother got Super Junior ade (blue lemonade), and of course mine is EXO ade. (mint flavor). We coincidentally ended up at a table that EXO's Chan Yeol signed. We also saw a chair that Red Velvet's Joy signed. We almost freak out but keep our mouth shut.

"Oh, my greek god! This feels like I'm walking on sunshine." I chuckled at Dawn's statement. even her stepbrother did. He doesn't really speak that much. I don't know why though. The only thing that Dawn likes about when her mom remarried is her step-brother. Not because he's half-Korean but they were close even before she knew that his father was her mom's next husband. "I do feel you Dawn. Gosh... I've only seen this in pictures and articles. I can't believe that I'm actually here. Thank you Dawn." She smiled and taps my hands. "You're dramatic, Ace. Stop it." we both laughed. The next and last stop is the fifth and sixth floors. Both floors occupy the SMTOWN Theatre. "This hold theaters that are used for hologram musicals and concerts, live musicals and plays, as well as fan meetings and showcases." her step-brother explained. We took pictures once again. After we finished going around SMTOWN Coex, Dawn wants us to go back to the SM Ent building because she wants to take a picture of the building with a twilight background. We did what she wants. There's a public parking lot in SM Ent building. Her brother parked there and went out with Dawn for picture takings. I told them that I'll stay here and wait for them. I'm also a bit tired from running around and going around today.

I opened the car window and locked the doors for safety measures. I'm sitting at the backseat by the way. Cold breeze hits my face as if urging my eyes to shut. I should take a nap then... I lazily closed my eyes and rest my head on the sides. I wasn't completely asleep when somebody unlocked the door through my open window. "What the--" I didn't continue on what I was supposed to say when he opened the car and covered my mouth. Swiftly as possible he locked the car and closed the windows. I was struggling to get out of his grip. "Ya! jinjeonghae jebal." (Trans: Hey, Calm down please.) I don't understand what he's saying so I kept on struggling till I bit his hands and he quickly removes it. "Ya! apayo!" (Trans: Hey, it hurts) That... I understand. "Who are you?! What the hell are you doing!" I said and pressed myself on the farthest part of the car. I can't see his face clearly since there's a mask and a cap. He's even wearing a hoodie. "Oh," he said. Right... I forgot he can't understand. I cleared my throat. I just know the basics of their language enough to create a conversation but in a situation I'm in... do you think I can even think of making a conversation?!

"Uhm--I'm really sorry. I'm not going to hurt you," he said. He understood? Korean girls were screaming in the background. He panicked and put his index finger in his mouth and pouted. "Quiet," he muttered. My eyebrows furrowed. What's wrong with this guy? "Uh--" "Shh!" he covered my mouth swiftly. When the girls were already gone he sighed in relief. I cleared my throat and he looked at me. "Oh! Mainhe." (Trans: Sorry) and he quickly removes his hands from my mouth. He was to get out of the car but I held him. "Neo! daeche nuguya?" (Trans: who the heck are you?) I started off. "You're not going out of this car if you won't tell me who the heck you are." he eyed me from head to toe and my eyebrow shot up. His gaze remains on my face. I tilt my head to the sides. What's his problem this time? "Gonghang-eseo on sonyeo" (Trans: Girl from the airport) He said and smiled. "Gong--what?" me being confused. Is that even a name or this guy is already cussing me. I frowned. "Se Hun," he said and hurriedly went out of the car. I was still. So still like a frozen good. S--Se Hun?
