Katniss POV

"What do you think?" Annie says twirling around out of the bathroom.

I giggle "You look gorgeous," I say as I apply some mascara to my eye lashes. We are getting ready to go to the party that we got invited to on Wednesday at breakfast. Annie is wearing an aqua-green coloured, lace dress that complements her eye colour perfectly, that goes up to her mid-thigh with some black heels. While I wear a red maxi dress with a sweetheart neckline that is short at the front and long at the back with some black flats because I'm honestly too tall to wear heels. As I finished applying my mascara I turn around to face Annie.

"So how do I look?" I ask Annie.

"You look beautiful" she says smiling.

"Not as beautiful as you though," I tell her.

When she is about to open her mouth we hear a knock on the door.

"Umm...come in." I say as I grab my black purse that has multi coloured studs all over it.

When I turn around I see Peeta, his blue eyes stare at me intently which immediately makes me blush. Ohh those ocean blue eyes. How does he have such an effect on me?

"Are you guys ready to go?" Peeta says.

"Yea, we're ready" Annie says as she takes her iPhone off charge.

"Okay than we will meet you at the car," Peeta says and with that he walks out of the room.

"Did you see how he looked at you" Annie giggles.

I nudge her shoulder "shut up Annie"

When we get into the white Porsche that I assume Finnick owns after all he is in the drivers seat, I see his eyes widen as he looks at Annie's attire. I laugh at the fact that Annie is now turning as red as a tomato.

"A-a-are you g-guys ready to go now" Finnick asks stuttering awkwardly.

"We're ready when you are" I say as I open the door for Annie.

When I get into the car I see Peeta looking at me through the rear-view mirror, but when he sees that I'm looking at him he immediately looks down.

"lets go" Finnick says turning the car on.

Since the party is on the other side of the campus it takes five to ten minutes to get there. When we arrive I realise that it isn't in an apartment block, and that it is in a town house like area. The music is so loud that you can here it from up the road, when we arrive at the party there are tons of disposable cups scattered throughout the front lawn. When the car comes to a stop, Finnick comes out of the car and opens the door for Annie when I turn to my side I see that the door has been opened already by Peeta.

"Thank you" I mumble awkwardly as my cheeks start to turn into a light shade of pink. Thank god it's night time.

"No problem" he replies, his voice deep and husky yet not too deep at the same time. Wait...What am I thinking? Seriously. As we get inside the house Peeta and Finnick immediately get welcomed by others, they must've been popular in high school not like Annie and I.

Inside the house it's like a typical party people making out in the hall ways, blasting music, people past out everywhere and drunk people wondering around like they have a mental disability.

I sigh, I new it was a bad idea to come.

An hour after hollering around the house I get interrupted by Annie holding a bottle of beer yelling over the loud music "Let's go dance!"
