I gripped Sophie's hand as we walked to the park. I looked down to see her smiling widely at the slide .
"Can I go down that one?" She said pointing at the slide.
"Yes go over to it. I'll watch you go down."
I watched as she ran over to the slide and started talking to the person going down it. They laughed and soon I knew they were going to be friends.
"Emily? Hey"
I looked up to see Drew walking towards me.
I stood up and walked over to him
"Hey Drew. What are you doing here?"
"Oh I'm just watching my little brother."
"Which one is your brother"
He pointed towards the little boy Sophie was playing with.
I smiled up at him, "he is playing with the little girl I'm baby sitting."
He laughed.
"Hey I'm sorry for last night. Cole is a very interesting person. I have no idea why he would do that."
"It's fine. Who is he anyways?"
"I'm kind of living with him while I baby sit his little sister."
His eyes widened a bit, "Oh..."
"But it's not like I see him all the time. He is out a lot."
He was about to reply when my phone rang. I looked down and saw it was Angela.
"Hello?"
"Hey Em sorry to cut your time with Sophie short but I got home early so I decided to start cooking dinner. I would like it if you guys could make it home before it's done if that's ok"
"Oh yeah sure no problem."
"Thank you so much honey!"
The phone call ended and I looked up at Drew apologetically.
"I'm so sorry but Sophie's mom wants her home."
"Oh no problem. I should probably get Issac home too."
"Bye Drew"

" I met a boy today. His name is Issac." Sophie said while skipping up the sidewalk to her door
" I saw. Was he nice?"
She nodded frantically, "mhm he was very nice."
We walked into the house and she ran towards the kitchen.
"Mommy!! I'm home"
Sophie ran into her moms arms and hugged her.
"Hey Angela. Sophie was great today. She even made a new friend."
"Oh I'm glad she is making friends. You can go upstairs to your room I can handle Sophie right now. "
" Are you sure?"
"Positive."
I head up the stairs to my room until I bump into someone.
"Sorry" I said
"You better be you pathetic swine." My eyes widened as I look up to see who I bumped into.
It was the same girl from the other night that Cole brought home. I rolled my eyes and continued to my room.
"You going to walk away from me while I'm talking to you?" She said as she grabbed my arm tightly.
I glared at her, "what's your problem?"
"Don't talk to me like that. You wouldn't want me to go get Cole and have a repeat of what happened the last time." She gripped my arm tighter. Her nails dug Into my skin.
Speaking of the devil Cole comes out of his room and looked at us.
"What's going on?"
The girl let go of my arm and put a sad face on for Cole, "she was being rude to me again Cole." She pouted
Cole looked at her then looked at me. He shook his head, "Sydney you should leave."
The girl, I guess her name was Sydney, looked at Cole with wide eyes, "But-"
Cole glared at her, " I said leave."
Sydney glared at both of us and left. Stomping down the stairs.
"Thanks." I hesitantly said to Cole.
He stared at me for a second, "Yeah, she was starting to annoy me anyways. See you." And with that he headed down stairs.
To say I was shocked would be an understatement.
That boy was very surprising.

I finally updated!!! I was having trouble with the last part. I didn't know if I wanted him to have a nice person response to her statement, or something cold and mean. I decided that you guys should see his semi nice side for a change.
Hope you enjoyed
