I wake up to a different tune today. Classic rock. I think it's Queen, I don't really know. I let out a groan as Phoenix continues to ignore this weird song. I hear them to get up and walk to the bathroom. Without turning the alarm off.

Mama, just killed a man

Put a gun against his head

Pulled my trigger, now he's dead

Mama, life had just begun

But now I've gone and thrown it all away

Mama, ooo

Didn't mean to make you cry

If I'm not back again this time tomorrow

Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters

Too late, my time has come

Sends shivers down my spine

Body's aching all the time

Goodbye everybody I've got to go

Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth

Mama, ooo

I get up and cross the room to turn it off. 'Crap.' It's password protected. Go figure.

I don't want to die

I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all

I see a little silhouetto of a man

Scaramouch, scaramouch will you do the fandango

Thunderbolt and lightning very very frightening me

Gallileo, Gallileo,

Gallileo, Gallileo,

Gallileo Figaro – magnifico

It won't stop, and Phoenix is still taking a shower.

"Gahhh!" I screech in frustration. As if on cue, the water stops, and soon Phoenix is standing before me with a towel wrapped around them and a tooth brush in their mouth. I stare. Like a perverted monkey.

"Do you need anything?" they question.

"I uh, yes, can you please turn your alarm off?" They smirk at that.

"What's the matter, you don't like the Bohemian Rhapsody?"

"It's not bad, I guess."

"Ok." Phoenix turns the alarm off and grabs a shirt that's lying on the floor. "I've gotta go, prepare for my first day of class. Cya."

"Oh?" I look at them in confusion. "What class do you have first?" I ask as I'm walking over to where I left my schedule.

"A tech class for graphic design. At..." they pause, looking at a watch on their left wrist. "nine thirty." I check my schedule.

"What time is it now?"

"Nine fifteen."

"Holy crap!" I rush to gather my stuff and something appropriate to wear.

"What's the rush? What class do you have first?" She grabs my time table as I'm shoving my laptop into bag. "Oh..." Is that a hint of disappointment in her voice?
