MARIA'S POV

All of the knights who was planning to rebel against Mephiles are here, even I was forced to be in here. I can't give up my angel chaos to them. Their species are in danger and I need to protect them.

All of them are fighting for freedom of love.

And I was one of their admirer who admired their bravery.

There are a lot of guestrooms here in the Kingdom of Rose. Tails decided to have a sleepover in Sonic's room, no one can blame them for being so close. They are childhood friends who treat each other like brothers.

I was alone in this room.

Shadow and I have a lot of arguments between Mephiles. He and I always fight because of him.

He can't understand me.

He said he wants to fight for me.

I said he didn't need to.

Today, I'll have my escape.

I get my cloak as I opened the window and looked down. My room is pretty high so I need to use a rope.

I know the reason why the Blessed Rose wants me to join their team. I want to... But I cannot bare them to see how they fight as they received a lot of injury and pain.

I can heal someone. But if I do that I'm afraid I'll make the situation worse because of my mistake.

I don't want to be a burden.

While running, a sudden black hog appeared in front of me causing for me to yelp when I stopped. But I ended up bumping him so he and I both fall.

"You're running away again don't you? Then I have no choice but to keep on guard to you Princess." His cold voice is still serious but I can hear the hint of anger in his tone.

"I want to work with you guys." I said as he looked at me. Standing up, I tried to be calm as possible.

"If you want then why are you running away from us? Is it because of me? I told you that I won't let you in your plans." He said as he aggressively grabbed my hand.

"Shadow! Let go of me! It hurts!" I said as I keep on pushing his arm with force but it's no use. He is stronger than me.

He pulled me closer making my nose touched his shoulder so I backed away and push him a little.

I was so shocked when Shadow and I stopped in front of a tree as I looked at him with terror when he cornered me using his both arms.

"W-What are you doing?!" I panicked.

"Forgive me this time." He said as he touched my hand, my eyes widen in shock when he's planning to remove it .

"Shadow! P-Please s-stop! No!" I pulled my hand forcefully to him as he give me a grip even tighter.

"Not that Shadow!" I said before I knew it my body froze because...

He kissed me.

That's a deep kiss as he slowly moved back and smirked. Showing the ring in front of me as he turned his back and give me a clothes.

"You'll be with me. With us... and I am forced to do things alone Maria. Don't try to run away this time." He said.
