The abused girl chapter 19:

Recap:

“Don’t play stupid jade, I saw the hand touching, I heard you when you got back, I also saw how guilty you looked. And just now, slipping up with you wanting him to talk about you? And having to correct that mistake just because I’m here?”

She walked off outside, I quickly followed and grilled her about it some more. There was no way I was letting a moment like this slip by.

“Jason, don’t be pathetic. You know I’m with you, so why are you even thinking idiotic thing like that?!”

“Because I’m not blind jade I see the way you look at each other, it’s like Morse code jade style for ‘I want to fuck you!”

“Ok fine then! Yeah we flirt, and yes I like him in that way, but I’m with YOU! At the moment though I cannot seem to understand why! He treats me better than you do! He acts more as a boyfriend than you have...there! Are you happy now you got what you wanted?!”

I had to fight the urge smile when I heard that, this plan is going well so far. I need to keep on at her, and then maybe Jeff will hear what were saying.

“Why would I be happy about you saying that? Like you stated; I’m with you... but not for much longer jade. As from this moment on; we are done. Go run to your precious Jeff. And when were done with the whole Jessie business, do not contact me!”

Her face dropped, I don’t think she was expecting that. Tears rimmed her eyes, but deep down I don’t think she is really bothered about this. I turned away and started heading for the house. Seeing Jeff at the window, I knew he had witnessed the last part of the conversation. Good, now it’s time I get him on board with this. The sooner it gets done, then the better it will help me. I need to get her out of this place, and it needs to be done as soon as possible before Paul causes too much damage. And after these two are on board, Pauls next!

Paul’s p.o.v:

As the plane touched down on the runway, I stretched out as much as I could allow myself. These planes were poky on space; I soon wouldn’t care, I was about to be off this big bird soon anyway. Coming into the baggage area, I collected my luggage and walked fully into the busy airport, walking straight to the entrance to flag down the nearest taxi. I hopped into it, and told the driver my destination; I was roughly about an hour’s drive away from the airport. Relaxing in the stuffy, sweat smelling cab was like trying to relax in a place filled with fish! I did my best at taking my mind and sense of smell off the foul aroma by cracking open the window and inhaling a gulp of fresh air. Occasionally, the cab driver looked through the rear view mirror as if to start up a conversation. I spared a quick glance at him and smiled, although he smiled back, he never once spoke; not until I started rambling on about plans etc, then he snapped me out of my thoughts and muttered something about me being evil. I threw him a confused look and asked:

“I’m sorry, is my personal and private life offending you?”

“err, no sir, it’s not so much your personal life as I do not know you to judge the going on’s: it is so much of the plans you speak of, they are not heavenly, or at all pleasant, I do sir, hope, that it is for a play you are uttering such evilness for. I am a very holy man and will not tolerate humans being evil to one another.” He said in a Latino accent, giving me a firm look. It’s only then that I realised I must have gave too much away.
