My High School Life

Movie Date

"Mom!" I almost scream. "What are you doing?" She looks as me. "Ivey, you said you and Kyle were not together. This shows otherwise."

"Well, it's only because you would get all over it. You always do stuff like that." I say, frustrated. "Ivey, you lied to me. There will be a punishment, I just don't know what yet. And don't worry, I won't get in your or Kyle's business."

I mumble something under my breath. She left the room. I am still FURIOUS! I need to tell someone this. Um, Kyle! Wait, absolutely not. What about Emily? No, this is supposed to be a secret.

I can't tell anyone! Urg. *Bring*  I walk over and see that Kyle texted me.

Kyle: There is a new movie out, The Greatest Showman. I was wondering if I could take you. Would you want to go?

Me: Sure.

Kyle: And don't worry, I will pay for everything.

Me: Kyle! Can I please pay for the snacks and drinks? Por favor?

Kyle: No. I am taking you, I want to pay.

Me: Thank you so much. I love you, ♡!

Kyle: Ditto. I will pick you up tomorrow after school.

Me: Will do!

I walk down stairs to tell my parents about the movie. "Mom, Dad, I am going to see a movie tomorrow night," I tell them. "What movie?" My dad asks, in his 'is it a good movie voice'.

"The Greatest Showman," I reply. "Oh, can we and your brother come?" My mom asks. "No!" I say. Dead silence. "I mean.. I wasn't planning on ya'll coming."

"Ok. Mabye another time?" My mom asks. "Sure."

After school the next day I head to the principles office. All I did was my homework because there was nothing else to do.

The principle let me out half an hour early. Kyle was waiting outside for me. "Hey," I said, getting in his car. "Welcome," she says with the cutest grin, "are you excited for the movie?"

"Nooo!" I said, dramatically. We laughed and chatted untill we reached the movie theater. "I'm so excited!" I exclaim. "Same," Kyle agrees.

We are about 45 minutes into the movie and I am already cold. There was a brush of wind that made me shudder. "Are you cold?" Kyle whispered.

"A little," I answer him. He moved a little, takes of his jacket, and gives it to me. I put it on, but I am still a bit cold. Then, Kyle pulls me closer to him and we cuddle, while watching the movie.

I am so happy right now. Kyvey is totally in action tight now. Right then a girl in the row in front of us lashes around.

I have. In fact, I own it. It is such such a great movie. I highly recommend it!
