Niall's Point of View

I was sitting at our lunch table with the lads when I saw her walking up to us with Alice and Danielle.  Her red hair was in a braid that fell over her shoulder and she smiled that smile that made me melt.  She was beautiful.  She wasn't hot like other girls.  She was cute and different and I didn't know why I was so attracted to her for it.  I moved over on the bench and she sat next to me.  I slid my arm around her lower back and pulled her close.  We weren't going out, but we always acted like we were.  We hung out, we cuddled, we kissed, we acted like a couple, but she never asked if we were official or anything.  On one hand I loved that, how she was so carefree and never questioned anything, but on the other I wanted us to be official.  I wanted to call her my girlfriend and to take her on proper dates.  I just want her to know how I felt about her.

I remembered the first day she sat with us, back in the beginning of school.

Flashback:

"Hey guys," Alice said sitting down, there was a girl behind her.  She had wavy red hair, green eyes, and perfect teeth.  I didn't know her, but I recognized her.  She had gone to school here for a while and I probably had a class with her last year or something.  "This is Lily."  She said, gesturing to her friend.  Lily waved to us as we greeted her and sat down next to Alice.  I could tell she was shy because she kept looking down at the ground.  We talked for a while and Lily occasionally chimed in.  Her voice was sweet and quiet, probably because she was shy.  I kind of liked that about her.  How she was pretty, but not cocky.  I looked at her face and at the same time she looked at me.  Her green eyes met mine and she blushed and giggled a little.  She was shy, but not awkward.  I don't know why I liked her so much, I just did.

End of Flashback

"Don't make plans for Friday night."  I whispered in her ear so the lads wouldn't hear me.

"And why is that?"  She whispered back.  Her hair smelled like vanilla.

"Because I'm taking you out."  I winked at her.  She smiled, bit her lip, and nodded.

Harry's Point of View

Louis and I had a free period after lunch today so we went to the courtyard in the middle of the school and sat at the table we always sit at.  It was almost winter now so we both pulled our jumper sleeves over our hands and crossed our arms to keep out the cold.  Louis and I both liked having this free period together because we could talk about anything we wanted.  We have been friends for so long that we are way past judging each other.

"So, I saw you and Alice dancing at your party." I winked at him.

"She was drunk."  He shrugged it off.  He was always doing this, acting like she didn't like him.  I'm not blind, Alice is ridiculously hot and she clearly wants it, so why wouldn't he just go for it?

"Come on man, stop denying it.  You know she wants it just as much as you do."

"No she doesn't.  It's not like that, man."  I could hear in his voice he was annoyed, but we had talked about this before, he has no reason to be annoyed now.

"What's up your ass?"  I asked as he seemed to get even more annoyed.  Suddenly it hit me.  I knew my best friend.  He couldn't hide anything from me.  "You like her."

"Well, obviously, I mean she's banging."  I could tell he didn't mean that.  I mean obviously he thought she was hot, she was the hottest girl in school, everyone thought so, but he meant he actually liked her.  This was weird.  Lou was never the one who actually had feelings for girls.  It wasn't like he was a complete dick, but he didn't go on a lot of dates.  In fact I couldn't remember the last time he went on a date.  He never led girls on, though.  If he wanted to hook up with them, they knew it and they didn't expect more.  If he just wanted to hook up with Alice he would've stopped trying a long time ago.  I mean, sure he would've stayed friends with her, but he would stop flirting with her.  He was in deep.
