"Maybe we could just sit in the car all day." Louis joked as we both sat in the parked car facing the school. We were both similar in that we weren't too fond of school. The only part I liked was music class and seeing my friends. I'm pretty sure he felt the same way.
"Come on, Louis." I laughed, finally getting out of the car. He hesitantly followed me as we walked through the door and towards our form room.
"Nooo." I heard him whining behind me as he jogged to catch up to me. I laughed as he draped his arm over my shoulder and our steps fell into sync. The last two weeks had been a nice vacation, but it was time to get back to school. I took his hand off my shoulder and slid my hand into his. Our hands fit together so perfectly, like puzzle pieces. I laughed a little at myself being so mushy. We walked into our form room and saw all of our friends. They greeted us cheerfully, seeing as almost all of them went away for the past two weeks.
"Good morning, and welcome back, class." Mr. Taft said, gaining everyone's attention. Having very little time to find a seat I decided on Louis's lap. It would only be for a second and I didn't think anyone would care seeing as half the class was sitting on desks and a lot of people were sharing seats. He wrapped one arm around my hips as I placed myself on one of his legs. "Now I'm sure you all probably know this, but I'm gonna say it anyway." Mr. Taft said as he made his way to the middle of the room. "This is around the time when you should start thinking about University. You'll need to start applying soon, so I suggest you figure out where you want to go and what you want to do. Just something to think about." He spoke as he returned back to his desk. That had really been all I could think about lately. I had no idea how to go about applying for university. Did I even want to go? What would I do if I didn't go? What would I do if I did? I shook the thought out of my mind. I knew I would have think about it sooner or later, but as for now, I choose later.
As Louis and I walked down the hall towards the music room I could tell by the silence he was thinking the same thing. "What are you gonna do after this?" I asked. Maybe Louis could give me some ideas. It wasn't that I wasn't smart, I was an average student and I was good at a lot of other things. If I wanted to I could get into an okay University, I just didn't know what I wanted.
"The boys and I have been talking about some things, but I don't know it seems crazy." He said, shaking his head.
"I'm sure it isn't crazy, Lou. What is it?" I asked, placing the hand that wasn't holding his on his forearm as we walked.
"Well we're gonna apply to University of corse, but who knows what will happen with that." I knew what he meant by that. Louis wasn't the best in school. He wasn't stupid, but he didn't take it very seriously. It just wasn't his thing. He was good at sports, and music, and so many things, but school wasn't real one of them. "Don't laugh okay?" He said, looking into my eyes.
"I won't!" I chuckled. "Tell me." I said, making my face look overly serious, which made him laugh.
"We want to go on The X-Factor. Just to see what happens." He confessed.
"Louis, that's a great idea." I said, honestly. The boys were so talented, but they had more than that. They were handsome and charming as well, which was exactly what they were looking for on that show.
"We just want to do it for the experience." He said as we entered the music room. I nodded and let go of his hand as he went to sit with the other boys. The music room wasn't like a regular class room. The only seats were set in rows facing the piano, I assumed they were for the choir. On the other side of the chairs there was a blue rug that took up most of the floor. Most of the class was spent with students sat on the rug in a circle or we would work on our own thing individually, but pretty much everyone sat on the rug.
