anna's p.o.v.

i finally get to the airport and park the car. i'm so giddy i get to see my best friend. i walk inside and look at the flight board and i see her flight just landed so i sit down and wait. i pull out my phone and it vibrates in my hand.

from lacie my homie<3: i just landed!! meet me at baggage claim:)))

from me: ok see ya!! I CANT WAIT

i get up from my seat and head towards baggage claim where she said to meet. i stand by the entrance of where she'll come out and i wait. it's been about 5 minutes and i finally see a cute little strawberry blonde head pop up among the many others. i start to run and right when she's through the doors i'm already there with my arms wrapped around her. we stand there for a couple minutes just in eachother's embrace rocking back and forth. it's been a long time since i've had a hug this good and i've missed it. mostly her but the hug still feels pretty great.

"oh my goodness i can't believe i'm finally seeing you face to face!" lacie and i are in tears by now.

"me too, i've missed you so much!" we hold eachother for a bit more then separate.

"let's get your bags and get home." i say. she nods and we pull her belongings off the conveyer belt. it's been a long day for her and i'm sure she's tired.

the whole ride home she bugged about what i've been doing and i told her all about harry except i left out his name. i'm not going to tell her who it is until we pull up because i love teasing her oh so much.

"are you gonna tell me what his name is yet? i'm getting anxious." she says as we pull into the driveway.

"hold your horses! i'm going to." i chuckle as i put the car in park and i turn to her and look her in the eyes. "his name is harry."

"aw that's such a sweet name! he better be cute, but knowing you he'll be the most attractive man on earth." she said with an eye roll and with that we got out of the car.

"he is. like, you won't believe it." we laughed as we got her things and lugged them inside. "gosh, how much stuff did you bring? you brought as much as i did but you're only staying for two weeks not two months!"

"i have to be prepared for any situation." she stated nonchalantly.

"ok you have a point."

once we were inside i showed her around and she was just as amazed as i was when i first came. i lead her to her room even though we both knew she would end up sleeping in my bed most nights and it would soon turn into storage. it was almost 4 in the afternoon so i told her to get ready because i was going to take her out to dinner so we could catch up on everything we didn't talk about in the car.

we were both ready, in our cute outfits, by five so we walked out the door before lacie grabbed my arm and pulled me back.

"wait, we need to take a picture!" so we walked towards one of the walls of the villa and posed for a selfie in front of a palm tree with our faces drenched in sunlight. i missed taking pictures with her and it felt so right to have her here with me. "my goodness we look good." and right as i nodded, i felt two large hands tickle my sides. i screamed, turned around and hit the arm of whoever did that.

"harry!! you scared me!" he was doubled over laughing at this point.

"that was the point love. oh you should've seen your face!" and then he hugged me as i stood there emotionless with my arms to my side while he still laughed. i looked at lacie, who had the most confused look on her face.

"oh lacie, this is my friend harry. harry, this is my friend lacie." they shook hands and she gave me a little side eye as if to say 'we're talking about this later'. knowing her, we would be.

"nice to finally meet you. i've heard a lot of nice things about you." he said to lacie.

"oh nice! it's nice to meet you too." this was honestly kind of weird for me. my two worlds colliding like this.

"well we better get going. we're going to dinner but i'm sure we'll see you tomorrow?" i said as we all walked towards the car.

"yeah of course! ill see you guys then."

"maybe we can go to the beach!!" i looked over at lacie as i said it.

"yes!" they both said in unison. this will be fun.

we said our goodbyes and then drove to the restaurant we planned on going to. we talked our heads off and we were both finally caught up on eachother's lives. it felt so good to talk in person and not through a screen. i can't believe i get two whole weeks of her!

once we were done eating we drove back to my place and instantly took off our makeup and put on our comfy clothes. when we were done with that, we both decided on watching a movie. so, while she chose a movie to watch i made some popcorn for us. we both got our own bag because why not? it's vacation. duh.

we started watching the goonies and i was rather proud of her for picking that one because it's my all time favorite movie. right in the middle of the movie i suddenly gasped and reached for the remote but fell off the couch in the process. lacie started laughing at me as i quickly paused the movie and i looked at her.

"i almost forgot to tell you something!" i said still sitting on the floor tangled in my blanket.

"what is it??" she looked rather concerned but she shouldn't be because this is some good tea she's about to drink.

"harry and i were watching the princessbride last night and about halfway through i asked him to braid my hair and he responded with 'as you wish'! like, what the heck. and then we fell asleep on the couch and that's why i was so late picking you up." i smiled as my chest rose up and down to catch up my breathing.

"WHAT! how come you didn't mention this earlier?" she was sitting up by now and gripping on to the couch.

"i forgot somehow!!" i told her.

"how is this something you forget anna!" she yelled with a smile on her face. and she fell back on the couch.

"i don't know!!" and i ran my hands down my face, which made it squish in different directions. "but it was the cutest thing ever to happen to me like what the freaking heck."

"he's totally into you." she rolled over on her side, still laying down, and looked at me.

"you think so lace?" i peeked through my fingers, my hands still over my face, as i gave her a hopeful smile.

she sat up again giving me a look. "anna, you know full well that you're fine as hell, don't deny it. plus, you have a great personality and a killer sense of humor even though your jokes can get kind of cheesy but i'm sure he loves that. AND you can sing! i'm sure he'd love that too. honestly, why wouldn't he be into you?"

"ok, you have a point." i smirked, thinking of some of my best bad jokes, laughing to myself.

"you just thought of one of your jokes didn't you?" she glared at me.

"what? pfft...no. of course not." as i said sarcastically and rolled my eyes.

"you totally just did. stop lying."

"you right. i'm freaking hilarious." i said as i stood up and sat my sassy booty back on the couch.

"also, can we talk about the fact that you happen to get harry styles as a neighbor?? AND a potential love interest?? of course it would happen to you." she looked at me in awe and raised her hands in defeat.

"i was thinking the same thing dude! like, how does this happen to people? i'm so glad it was me though because...wow." i threw my hands up as i leant back on the cushions.

"just play the movie you dingus." she rolled her eyes and laughed.

"oh honey, das you." and we both laughed as i continued the movie.

i, personally, LOVED this chapter because it really showed off their personalities. this one was kind of a filler chapter because the next chapter is going to be reallyyyy fun so stay tuned;))
