The next morning, Garrett woke up. He felt well rested and energized. He saw that the magic journal was glowing and vibrating. He knew what it meant. It meant that Twilight had answered back. He opened the journal, and read what Twilight had to say.

Dear Garrett,

I'm glad to hear that you've found the human Rarity of that world. And I'm also glad to hear that you've made some new friends. As for your question, I asked Star Swirl what he saw in his vision, and the man whom Rarity and April are clashing over is indeed Donatello. It seems Donnie must be torn between the two. I certainly hope you're able to help resolve this friendship problem. I have faith you'll succeed. Good luck, and be sure to give me updates when you can.

Garrett then decided to hang out with The Turtles. Maybe do some ninja training. Maybe get to know the Turtles. Later that day, Garrett was in the Lair, and Donnie and Mikey walked up to him. "Hey dude, can we talk?" Mikey asked. "Sure," said Garrett. "Privately;" insisted a hesitant Donatello. Garrett nodded, and the three went into Donnie's lab. "Alright guys, what's up?" Garrett asked. "Do you got any dating advice?" Michelangelo blurted. Garrett was taken aback. "Let me guess, you two are totally into Rarity and Pinkie Pie, respectively?" Garrett said, putting two and two together. Donnie laughed and asked, "What gave you that idea?"

"Donnie, I saw the way you looked at Rarity," said a smiling Garrett, "that's the same bashful attitude I had when I first met Twilight. And I saw the way you were all carefree with Pinkie, Michelangelo."

"Teach us, oh wise one!" Mikey said. "Well, the first thing you gotta do is be confident when you see your crush," advised Garrett, "when you first see the mare, err, I mean, girl, greet them with something simple like, hey, how are you doing? One of you try."

Michelangelo cleared his throat and, doing his best impression of Joey Tribbiani, said, "Ey, how you doin?" Garrett couldn't help but snort, trying to keep a straight face. "Really Mikey?" Donnie groaned, face palming himself, "You had to do an impression of Joey from Friends?"

"It's not a bad way to pick up a girl..." said Garrett, "Donnie, pretend I'm Rarity and say hi." Donatello cleared his throat and said, "H-hi Rarity, how are you?" Doing his best impression of Rarity, Garrett said, "Oh I'm simply marvellous darling, and yourself?" Mikey covered his mouth, muffling his own laughter. "I'm doing well Rarity, thank you for asking," Donnie said, playing along. "Alright, that's good," Garrett said going back to his regular voice, "Now, you gents probably already know what Pinks and Rarity are into, and that's very good on your parts. And word of advice, a girl loves it when you tell her she's beautiful. Always compliment her. She'll feel 10 times better, and love you even more for that." Donnie and Mikey nodded, understanding. "When should we tell them we love them? And how?" asked Donnie. Garrett pondered this and said, "Well, it depends on the situation. I told Twilight my feelings for her after we defeated a deadly foe. Just be honest, be cool, and if they ask why, give them a reason why you love them. And I'm going to quote my sister on this one, tell her when you believe the time is right. How long have you two known Rarity and Pinkie?" Mikey and Donnie said in unison, "A year." Garrett nodded, understanding. 

 "Thanks for the advice Garrett," said Donnie. "Anytime." Garrett said, smiling. But his smile drooped when he heard a sudden noise in the dojo. "Did you hear that?" Garrett asked. Donnie and Mikey looked at each other and Donnie said, "Either Raph's in the dojo and he's lost his temper with Leo, or the other way around, or something worse." Garrett, Donnie, and Mikey got out of Donnie's lab, walked into the dojo, and saw April and Rarity having an angry screaming match, their fists up. "Yep, it's definitely worse," mumbled Donnie.
