A Million Dreams

Donatello was in his lab, reading a book while snacking on the cookie pizza that Pinkie made. He just didn't feel like doing experiments today. So he was reading a book about the late Stephen Hawking. The late theoretical physicist's intellect always fascinated Donnie to no end. He regretted not getting to meet the late theorist. During the time Donnie read Dr. Hawking's book, he couldn't stop thinking about Rarity. He wanted to admit his feelings for her, regardless of the risk of potentially infuriating April. Though, April seemed to be acting a lot friendlier, especially towards his younger long lost brother Kirby. And Donnie was trying to get used to the fact that he was now "the middle child." 

Meanwhile, outside Donnie's lab, April and Rarity were outside. "You got this Rarity," assured April, who was supporting Rarity's decision to be with Donnie. Rarity smiled and said, "Thank you darling. Perhaps on a day we aren't busy, we could hang out and catch up on old times?" April smiled and said, "That would be awesome." Rarity then knocked on the door. "Come on in," said an oblivious Donatello. Rarity went into Donnie's lab, closing the door behind her. "Oh hey Rarity." Donnie said with surprise. "Hello Donnie," she replied, smiling at the gap toothed turtle. "How did it all go with April and Garrett?" asked Donnie as he put his book away. "Went very well;" Rarity said happily, "We were able to resolve the problem, April gave a heartfelt apology, and we reconciled."

"That's wonderful to hear Rarity," said Donnie, who was happy to know Garrett helped solve this problem. "How're things with Kirby?" asked Rarity. "Rather well," said Donnie, "he's doing so well with his training, I'm considering giving him my bo staff. I think I'll use a Yumi and Ya." Rarity gave a look of curiosity and asked, "What's a Yumi and Ya, out of curiosity?"

"It's the Japanese equivalent to a bow and arrow," stated Donnie, and Rarity nodded, understanding. Donnie looked into Rarity's sapphire blue eyes, and she looked into his reddish brown eyes. "Rarity, there's something I want to tell you..." said a somewhat nervous Donnie, who was ready to take this leap. "Yes Donnie?" she asked. "Rarity, since I met you, I've had these feelings for you," admitted Donnie, "you are beautiful, talented, really creative, and I can't hide my feelings anymore... you make me feel complete, and... I love you..." Rarity gently put her hand on his cheek, smiling. "Oh Donnie," said Rarity, "I feel the same way about you. Not only are you smart and brave, but you are so kind and gentle. I love you also..." Donnie held her hand. "Rarity," he said, "will you be my girlfriend?" Rarity squealed and hugged him saying, "Yes! Yes! I've been waiting for you to ask me! I will be your girlfriend!" She then suddenly kissed him on the lips. Donnie was caught off guard, but then embraced the kiss. 

The Turtles could overhear all this. "Something tells me that Donnie and Rarity are a thing," quipped Raph, who smirked with Leo. "Well, can't wait to write that," said Garrett. Kirby and April smiled, happy for Donnie and Rarity. Garrett got out the magical journal, and started writing.

My Dear Beloved Princess,

I have nothing but good news to deliver in this letter I'm writing to you. I succeeded in convincing April and Rarity into talking with each other. Thankfully, I found the root of their problems, and now Rarity and April have officially reconciled, back to being friends. So I finally solved the friendship problem. Not only that, but now Pinkie and Michelangelo are officially dating. And after the reconciliation, I have a feeling Donnie asked Rarity to be his girlfriend, and succeeded with flying colors. Now that I've solved the friendship problem, I wonder what the future holds. Only time will tell. But I hope it involves being in your arms again.

A few hours later, after eating pizza and bonding with everyone, Garrett noticed the journal vibrating and read what Twilight had to say.

My Dear Beloved Garrett,

I am proud to know that you've successfully solved the friendship problem on your own. I knew you'd succeed. Sorry for not responding sooner. When I got your message, I immediately contacted Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Star Swirl to let them know of your successful mission. They were very pleased to find out the results. As was your sister. After talking it over, we've made our decision, and will allow you to return back to Equestria. Once you've returned, you will be crowned as Prince. And congratulations to Pinkie, Mikey, Rarity, and Donnie on ending up together. Let them know I wish them nothing but the best. I await with excitement on the day you return to me, my love.

Garrett smiled with excitement. He could finally go home.
