Samuel sat the carrier down and the others looked at it. Stanley walked over and looked at him.

"Well, little one, now you belong to us," he smiled. Then turned to his brother Shy, "give him a name."

"Why?"

"Because he's you're son now," he ordered.

"What if I don't want him?"

"Don't care," she shrugged.

Shy looked at his brothers and let out a breath, "fine. We'll call him Shay."

"Good. Now take him. When the time is right, we'll take over the Santiago business," Stanley announced.

"What about the other heirs," Samuel asked him.

"Fuck em. He was sold to us. Now we get the wealth and power. Do you have any idea how long I waited for them to die?" He glared at Samuel. "Always doing shit jobs for them. Now we got the prize and that kid is the ticket."

"And what if he doesn't conform," Shy asked.

"Then beat the hell out of him for all I care. But don't fuck this up," he barked causing the baby to become startled and scream.

Shiva walked in and picked up the baby. She cradled it and he calmed down.

"What are you doing," Stanley asked her.

"Well big brother, I am taking care of him like you're suppose to. Now I am going to give him a bottle since he needs to be fed," she said walking off with the baby.

"Figures," he huffed.

We returned home and walked inside only to be met with an anxious Xavier.

"Did you find him?"

I looked at him, "not yet."

"But he's alive?"

"Yeah."

"So, when do we find him?" I could see the look on his face.

"Xavier, let us handle this," I said to him.

"Ryan, that's my boy. He's alive and out there. Don't tell me to let you handle this. I want to bring him home to his mother," he looked at me with pleading.

"Xavier, we're trying," Frazier reassured him.

"Trying? It sounds like you are giving up on him?"

"No. I swear we aren't," Frazier reasoned.

"Then where is my boy Dylan? Where are the most feared boys in Saintwood at?! The ones that get answers?! Huh?!" Xavier screamed.

"Xavier you need to calm down," Jordan warned.

He snapped his head to Jordan, "don't fucking tell me to calm down! You got your families while my boy is with someone else!" We all looked at him. "Fine! You want to just stand around with your dicks in your hands, so be it. I'm going to find my boy," he shouted as he stormed past us.

"Well, that couldn't have gone any better," Frazier sighed.

"Chase. Brax. Go get our little friend and bring him back before he gets himself in a bind," Ace told them. They nodded and went to retrieve Xavier.

They brought him back, fighting and stood him in front of Ace.

"Look, I get you're pissed but you running off half cocked isn't going to help the situation. First of all, you need to realize whoever has him, isn't going to make things easy. Second, we will find him. One way or another," Ace told him.

I watched Xavier as he looked defeated. I get it. They were lied to. Told their child was dead then find out he's alive. Only to not have him returned. Xavier was usually happy go lucky but now he looked empty.

"I just want my boy back," he said as his voice cracked.

We watched as his brothers walked up. He turned to them, "why me? What did I do to deserve this?"

"Xavier, you didn't do anything wrong. Sometimes life has a habit of kicking you in the teeth. You just have to remember that it's not permanent," Leo told him.

"Come on Xavier, let's go inside so we can figure out what's next," Angelo said draping his arm around him as they walked back inside.

I looked at Leo and Zane, "I swear we will find him and bring him home if it takes us forever to do so."

"Ryan, we know. You never steered us wrong before," Zane said.

"It's just Xavier is having a hard time with it all," Leo added.

"We know," Frazier sighed. "By the way, how are you feeling?"

"Better. Nik has been taking care of me," he smirked.

"Aww, gross!" We all said.

"What?! He has been a good nurse!"

"Son, I do not need to know what kind of kinky bullshit, you and my other son do. Just like I don't want to know what kinky bullshit, his siblings do," Frazier said with an eye roll.

"It would be so much better if he would wear that nurses uniform I bought him," he exclaimed as we all groaned. We didn't have anything against gay people, we just didn't want to hear about anyone's sexcapades. I definitely still didn't like the fact Jordan and Elena did or even Frazier for that matter.

We walked into the house and I needed to speak with Mason. I wanted to end this once and for all. We walked into his office and he was sitting there, looking through a file.

"Uncle Mason?"

"Did you find the boy?"

"Not yet."

"Don't worry, you will," he said not looking up from the file.

"Actually, we came here for another reason," I spoke.

He looked up and leaned back in his chair, "let me guess you want out."

"Yes."

The three of us looked at him as Ace, Chase and Brax stood off into the side.

"Ryan, normally, I would tell anyone no but so gave it some thought."

"And?"

"And, I decided that I can't keep you into something you don't want to be in. This isn't you. What this family has done over the years isn't something you want to be mixed up in. I'm just sorry it went on for so long," he said rubbing his forehead.

"We just want our families to feel some normalcy. Enjoy them. We can't do that if we are always tied up with one thing or another. I don't mind helping out and neither do the boys but as far as anything major, we're out. Alex needs some peace," I said to him.

It was true. She did. She had been put through so much and it wasn't fair she got dragged into any of it.

"No worries Ryan. As of today, you boys are done. If I need a favor, I will call. But it's time you enjoy your families," he reasoned.

"After we finish looking for that baby," I added.

"What," the boys asked.

I looked at them, "we will search until we find him. They don't deserve to be without their child. It's not right."

They looked at me and nodded.

"We'll keep searching too. You have my word," Ace agreed.

It was agreed we would all take turns looking for Zander, so we could still see our family. Mason also agreed to help us with our search. As for the favors, I knew Mason wouldn't call upon us unless he absolutely needed to. He wasn't the type that would constantly take us from our families and for that I was glad. At least now, we could find peace.

Even if it was short lived.

Expect a time jump next. You're about to find out how Zander is fairing and the search is still on.
