"finn...im fine really. plus it's your first day! you can't skip on you first day." i say gathering up my things.

i say while trying to get mascara off my cheeks. "screw school millie. you need to rest and there is no way in hell in leaving you." he says getting his backpack.

"but fin-" he cuts me off.
"no buts millie! let's go!" he says with a light laugh.

I smile with the last bit of happiness in me.

"fine..let's go." I say grabbing all my stuff and start walking.

finn once again breaks the ice. "i'm really sorry I brought up the topic mills, I didn't know it was so touchy for you." he says while looking down at his shoes.

"well i mean we just kinda met this morning it's not like we've known each other a while" I say in sort of a 'duh' tone.

"yeah..but it sure does feel like it" he says while smiling at me.

after i smile back my face starts hurting and I just now realize how much i've been smiling today.

after about a five minute walk we finally get to my house.

I start looking for my keys in my bag. After about 30 seconds of looking I sigh.

"well, my keys aren't here just my luck" i say with a lot of annoyance.

"maybe try to remember when you saw them last?" he says with kind of a sideways face.

         -flashback to this morning-

as I let go of ava's little hug I put my house keys near the door on the little table.
                 -end of flashback-

I gasp and run over to the window next to the little table and I see the keys sitting there.

"shit! my fucking keys are inside god dammit" I say while putting my hands on my forehead.

"maybe your window is open?" He says while looking up.

"yes! I always leave my window open!" I say with my hands in the air.
"Don't ask..." he chuckles at my statement.

"okay so put your foot here, yea- yeah right there. don't worry I got ya"
finn says while holding on to me from behind we were halfway up to the second level.

"aha! we're almost there!" as I reach my hand on to a piece of the roof I slip and fall on top of finn.

no we didn't fall all the way thankfully. as I stare into his dark chocolate brown eyes I start to see how cute he actually is.

those cheekbones that were shaped by the gods and the freckles that scatter along the bridge of his nose perfectly.

he slowly starts leaning in and so do i. we were so close that I could feel his breath on my face.

"millie I thi-" he gets cut off by my phone buzzing.

"sorry.." I mumble while scrambling off of him and getting my phone out.

"hello? sadie? yeah I'm fine trust me" i look over at finn who is still on the ground of the roof.

" Finn took me home, yeah we're fine don't worry. mkay call me when you can love you" i end the call while remembering what was about to happen.

my cheeks flush red everywhere.

"so let's get into my room now?" I say with a a little laugh.

finns pov

we finally got into her room which honestly took longer then i expected.

oh yeah and millie and i almost kissed.

i'm honestly freaking out right now. but why would i be so stupid?! god plus i don't even like her like that..

plus she probably has a boyfriend..

"welp this is my poor excuse of a tumblr room" she says laughing while putting her hands up to her actually very nice room.

she had a queen sized bed in the middle , a big fluffy pink rug next to the bed , polaroids string above her bed with little lights , a nice sized desk with pictures of her family and friends.

i spotted a picture of her with this guy with his arm around her.

"oh that's my big brother charlie he isn't here because he went away to college sadly" she said while giving me a sad sideways face. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"millie..don't stall the reason why we are here" she looks confused but then her face drops into a look of sadness.

"before you say anything no if, buts, or ands! get some sleep alright!" i say crossing my arms.

"fine only cause i know your right" she says sighing.

i sit down at her desk and notice she finally fell asleep.

i was just on my phone and i hear whimpering and a little bit of crying.

" no jack please stop " i hear millie say with tears streaming down her face.

"millie? millie wake up!" i say shaking her just the slightest bit.

"shit come on mills wake up!  wake the hell up!" i say shaking her more.

she sits up in her bed breathing heavily and tears rolling down her cheeks.

before i could ask what was wrong she engulfed me in a big hug sobbing into my shirt.

i didn't care that my shirt was probably drenched it tears and sweat.

"it's okay..i got you millie" I whisper
rubbing her back and swaying her back and forth.
