Fighter - Part 4

You froze at Bellatrix' words. There was no way you could betray the Weasleys and besides the only reason you became a Death Eater (or at least pretended to be one) was to keep George safe. And now you should do exactly the opposite.

"What are you waiting for?" the witch sneered.

"I-I can't do that" you said "The only reason I'm with you is because I don't want You-know-who to kill my boyfriend and now you want me to betray them and let them die?"

"Do it or I will!" she cried and a shiver ran down your back. Frantically you searched for a solution and the only thing that came to your mind was making sure all the Weasleys were safe and protected. So you simply nodded.

"A-alright" you stammered and apparated to Diagon Alley, hoping she would fall for your lie. You ran to the joke shop and rushed in. There weren't many customers and you thought it was because everyone was afraid to leave the house in these times. So you quickly spotted the twins and despite the situation you felt utterly relieved to see them again. "George! Fred!" you shouted as you ran towards them. They turned around and seemed surprised but soon George came near you and scooped you up and pressing you tight against him.

"You're back" he exclaimed, put you back to the ground a little later and kissed you.

"Yes, but not for long" you quickly said, trying to push him away a little although it was hard and you just wanted to hold him in your arms. "Listen, you are in grave danger and you need to leave now and go into hiding. Please" you blurted out.

"What are you talking about? How would you know?"

"I just do. Please, you have to believe me. We have to leave now or it could be too late"

"(Y/N)!" George insisted as you tried to pull him along "What is the matter? Why are we in danger?"

"I-I can't tell you. But you have to trust me. Please. I would never to anything that could harm you" They exchanged a look and nodded.

"Fine. We'll get rid of the customers then we can leave. Where do we go?"

"First to the Burrow. I have to warn the others and then you will have to find a solution. But I can't stay long" by now you had let go of your boyfriend and were running towards the door.

"What do you mean? Where do you need to go?"

"That is something I can't tell you either."

"Just tell me you're not in danger" you walked back to the redhead and hugged him.

"I am alright. Nothing has happened or will happen to me. But you will need to let me go"

"I don't know if I can" he said.

"You have to. Please" you looked at him, pressed your forehead against his for a short while and then you let go of him to apparate to the Burrow, where you warned the others. Since you didn't know where exactly Bill lived, Molly went there and when she came back, she told everyone, also Fred and George who now were at the Burrow as well, that they would go and hide in their aunt Muriel's house and protect themselves with a Fidelius Charm. Much to your surprise, Molly didn't have any questions for you to answer but she hustled everyone so that they could leave right now. Of course the others wanted to know what she had to tell (also you knew she heard something from Bill) but she told them to wait until they were safe.

"Can't you just come with us?" George asked and took your hands in his.

"No. There is something I need to do" you turned to Molly. "Whoever becomes the Secret Keeper, you mustn't tell me"

"But then you can't find us" George protested.

"I know. And that is best for all of us" you squeezed his hands "I promise when this is over, I will come back to you. But now I really have to go and so do you. And once you're gone you mustn't come back. At least not in the following days" you pressed a quick kiss to his lips, let go of his hands.
