PLEASE READ: PSA about copying fics

Hey all, Here's an important note about copying fics from other users or other platforms. I've seen that it is a thing where Wattpad users just copy works from Tumblr or other sites and post them on Wattpad without the author's consent or knowledge.

 Also giving credit to the real author doesn't make it much better if you haven't asked them for consent before copying the story. You may not mean harm or just want more people to enjoy the story but if you do it like that, the true author from another site will most likely NEVER get the credit they deserve though, which is not fair at all because they spent hours on the work and then they won't even see or get the likes, reads or comments that you get on your copied stories! 

Therefore, please, do never just take stuff from others without their permission. It is really frustrating if that happens to you. Besides, there's a thing called copyright and anything that is not specifically labelled as copyright-free CANNOT be taken without the original creators consent! Please consider this in the future.

I really don't mean to be rude or so but I just want you to know what it is not right to copy the work, even if you say that it is not yours and mention the author.So, if you have ever copied work from others, I and my friends ask you to take everything down that you didn't write yourself or didn't get the authors permission to publish.

Or even worse, there are people like @palomazuniga who KNOWINGLY steals works and them claims it's their own. My friends and I spent the whole day trying to get their stolen works taken down because they kept deleting our comments that this was acutal theft and just blocked (muted) us so that we had to make several new accounts and even start a whole campaign on tumblr to get all or friends to report this person.

Also, if you get asked by an original creator or their friends to take something you copied down, please do it! And don't block them because that just makes you a real asshole! YOU are not in the right when you just take others works and then REFUSE to listen to the creator. That is illegal and I know people (including myself) who will not hesitate to report you in that case!

Or even better, contact us on Tumblr harrysweasleys, ickle-ronniekins, diary-of-an-onliner, theweasleyredhair, wand3ringr0s3 and harrypotter-and-the-onering.Then we can make sure that such works that have no right being here are taken down!

If you truly want to support the other writers, don't copy their works. Just recomment their fics that are published on another platform. Because like that, we will have the readers interacting with us, the people who did all the work and didn't just use Ctrl. + C and Ctrl. + V. Because if you publish the stories here, the readers will not come to our profile on tumblr or wherever because you already serve them everything and we don't get any of the cake.
