Joshlene’s P.O.V…

“I saw my grandfather get hurt…” I cried. Lizzy wrapped her arms around me. “..babe? Is that you? Are you okay?” I heard Niall’s raspy voice say. “No it’s not. Yeah I’m fine. It’s Joshlene. Go back to sleep. I got it.” Lizzy tells Niall. My grandfather. I just keep getting nightmares. I’m super worried that something bad happened than him. I need to know if he’s alright. I need my mother to tell me if he’s okay. I need her right now. “What’s wrong babe?” Lizzy asks me. I sighed and said “My grandfather. I don’t know what’s wrong with him. I just keep getting nightmares. And I don’t know. I just-I hope he’s okay.” Lizzy turned on the light on the nightstand. “He will be okay. If he’s not okay right now, that is.” She says

“I need to call my mother and I kind of don’t have a charger to charge my phone.” I said. She laughed a little. “What’s funny?” I asked honestly. I don’t see what’s funny right now. “You know you could ask me for a charger right? It’s not the end of the world. Use my phone to call her, right now, if it’s really urgent.” She says. She handed me her phone and I took it in my hand. I stood up and said “I’ll be back. Can you put this to charge?” I hand her my phone. She nodded. I walked out to the porch and closed the door behind me. I sat on the chair and looked at the dark blue sky full of stars.

*ring* *ring* *ring*

“Hello-

“Mom..”

“Sorry I couldn’t pick up the phone right now. But leave me a voicemail so I can call you back.”

“Mom. I…I’m in so much pain right now. I’m worried about grandpa. I-how is he? I need to know he’s okay, mom. I’m concerned. Please call me back. Tell father I said hello and ummm yeah..*sighs* I also want to talk to you about Josh. He…he’s just ugh!!! Just call me back, okay? Goodbye”

Niall’s P.O.V…

I opened my eyes to see Abigail on the couch giggling with her teddy bear. “Baby.” I said and she quickly turned to me. She smiles at me and drops her teddy. She stretches her arms out for me and I chuckle. I stand up and pick her up. “Good morning Abby.” I said. I walked towards the glass porch doors and saw someone sitting on a chair. I opened one of the doors and walked to see the person’s face. It’s…I removed the hair from the face….its Joshlene. And she’s asleep. Was she out here at night? Abby pointed to Joshlene and said something. I don’t know what she said but hey? At least she’s trying to speak. Wait what? My baby is trying to speak. How exciting is that? “That’s Joshlene. She’s going to baptize you with Josh. Her boyfriend.” I told her.

“babaa” she says. She grabbed my nose and squeezed it. “Ouch. No. That’s mine. It’s my nose. You have yours.” I said and she giggled. She grabbed my hair and tugged on it. I felt a kiss on my neck. I turned around to see Lizzy in pjs and her messy hair. “Morning babe.” She says and I said “Morning baby. How was your sleep? Did she sleep out there?” I pointed to Joshlene and she shrugged. “I don’t think she came in. I fell asleep when she left outside to call her mother.” She says. She opens her mouth to say something but she closes it again. I kissed her cheek and said “How was your sleep?” She frowned and said “Not well.”
