[Absentia's POV]

I flew with Rainbow Dash as she helped clear the skies with the other Weather Pegasi.

"You know, Absentia," she said, eying me as she moved a cloud to rest just above a dry field. "Is there a chance that Scoots might've-"

"If she did," I cut her off, knowing exactly what she was asking. "The only way that could've happened is if you stepped in. Some of the workers are Failures that enjoyed the bloodshed, keep that in mind."

She looked down, pondering my words, before nodding. She looked at me with a smile on her face, before a shout makes us both freeze.

"Go Rainbow Dash!"

I blinked before turning to look in the same direction as Rainbow Dash.

To say that we looked exactly alike was like saying that Celestia and Luna were opposites. She had the exact same coat and mane as me. The only things that made us different were my red eyes, doctored straight jacket and our cutie marks. Hers was a crest with a lightning bolt, while mine was a Rainbow Fall.

I'll give you a moment to figure out why...

"Hey Scoots," Rainbow said, before flying over, motioning for me to follow.

I landed in front of her, studying her carefully. I could tell that she noticed me staring, judging from the uncomfortable twitch in her shoulders. I eased up on my stare before I spoke to her.

"You know?" I asked Rainbow while still looking at Scootaloo. "Everpony was right, apparently. We really do look alike."

Scootaloo looked confused as Rainbow replied. "Yeah. That really confused me when I first saw you. I thought you were Scootaloo at first. You said you don't remember anything, right?"

"Uhhh, yes?" I asked confused. Why did Rainbow bring my amnesia up now?

"Is there a chance that something happened to Scootaloo to erase her memories?" Rainbow looked at me hopefully while I bit my lip, thinking.

"There is a chance," I muttered. "I mean, Twilight's magic did go far from what it is now, even if it WAS with the help of you-know-what."

Rainbow nodded in acceptance before turning to Scootaloo, who looked annoyed and lost.

I'd be frustrated if I was out of the loop as well.

"Hey, Scoots," I said awkwardly. This is so weird.

"Hi," she smiled, before turning her full attention to Rainbow. "Hey Rainbow Dash! What's up?"

"I was just showing Absentia around. I thought she might want to see how Ponyville is," she said, before looking at me. I'm still a little lost.

"Uhh, Rainbow?" I ask, my face blank. "You do realise that I had never been outside the Factory before, right?"

They both stared at me while I looked around, before staring hard at the treehouse. Why does it feel so familiar?

"Absentia," I control my startle before it even shows and turn to Scootaloo, who was looking at me in confusion. "What factory are you talking about?"

"The factory she was born and raised in," Rainbow answered before I could. I looked at her accusingly. If she starts cutting Scootaloo off now, she would snap a lot earlier than she thinks, even if it's to make me feel more at ease.

She deserves to know the truth.

"The Rainbow Factory," I add with a huff, spotting Rainbow's nod in the background. I smiled at her before turning to Scootaloo.
