[Sweetie Belle's POV]

I was helping Fluttershy with the animals when I was dive-bombed by Absentia.

It was rather disconcerting, to say the least.

"Scoot- Abs," I huff our, shoving them off of me. "I missed you, too. Truly. But, was that necessary?"

Absentia has an... odd look in her eye. She keeps glancing between Fluttershy and me, probably realising that I am more comfortable around her than the rest. Her stare said the words she did not.

"Hey, Fluttershy," she only glances at me once before nodding, returning to caring for the animals. I smile at her typical behaviour. I follow Absentia into a section of the forest, far enough away from everypony that nopony can eavesdrop. She clasps me by my shoulders and looks right into my eyes.

"Abs, you okay? You're worrying me," and your grips too tight, I try to force the words out, but they remain clamped in my throat.

It's not like I'm not used to the pain anyway...

"-around Fluttershy?" I blink, the few words easily helping me piece the whole question together.

" She was a special case when she snapped, remember?" I shrugged. She barely tolerated the other killers beyond what she needed to. The same went for literally everypony.

Except you...

"We both know that our Fluttershy would easily kill anypony once she tires of them," Absentia looks me in the eye, and I return her stare.

"Maybe she was only looking for an extended hoof when she snapped," I say softly, before changing the subject. "Anyway, why did you call me? Is there something wrong?"

"Oh," Absentia's face darkens, then she causally grabs me and flies off to who knows where before I could react.

I finally understand why Absentia tried to find me.

I glance back to the mess of ponies on the floor, trying my best to not laugh at the random dragon wings sticking out of the pile. I walked around the group, trying to count exactly how many ponies were in the pile.

"Seriously? Celestia's sun rose four hours ago. Why is everypony still asleep?" I snicker before glancing at the group, totaling up to six ponies, a draconequu and a dragon. They look so peaceful sleeping, which was probably why Absentia did not want to wake them up.

That and there were too many of them for her to wake up all at once.

Maybe we should leave them to sleep...

I snicker. Nodding to Absentia, I readied myself.

Nah.

"On the count of three?" Absentia asks, copying my stance. I tense as she goes through the numbers, before leaping on the pile with her.
