[Apple Bloom's POV]

Apple Jack and I were walking around Sweet Apple Acres.

Or, more of, I was walking and she was staring at me every step of the way.

It was a long and hard fight with the others to let me walk around here with Apple Jack. It was understandable. I mean, at any moment I could have an anxiety attack and the sight of Apple Jack would only make it worse, so I could very much understand the problem.

Not like I have had an anxiety attack, but it's the thought that counts.

I turned to Apple Jack, only to notice her quickly looking away, the guilt clear on her face. Knowing her, she was probably blaming herself for what happened to me.

"Ya know," she started before looking at me, a slight blush on her cheeks for being caught, but she listened nonetheless. "I get tha ya feel a lil' awkward with wha happ'ned, but don' worry. Ah'm fine."

"Ah know, sis," I don't think my words had much impact, judging by the look of guilt on her face. I sighed and shook my head, trying subtly to not look at the apple trees.

Even after so long of being in this innocent time stream, it was still hard for me to sleep peacefully at night. Even now, the phantom of Apple Jack's words still haunted my mind. I could not even look at an apple without feeling sick in my stomach. Any sight of the barn where it all happened gave me flashbacks to that horrible night.

It was terrible, to say the least.

I smothered the feeling in my head, turning to Apple Jack with a smile. I really hoped that we could change the future, but a small voice in my head kept on playing back those harsh words that she had told me. I shrugged it off instinctively, but soon I will need to face it.

At least, let's hope I can.

"C'mon, sis," I started galloping to the main house, ignoring the fear that seemed to grow worse the closer I got to the main house. "Everypony's waitin' for us!"

Apple Jack snickered before easily outpacing me, reaching the house long before I did. I smiled as lead the way in, hoping that it would work. That she would change from that future version.

Why, Apple Bloom?

I stiffened, the voice echoing my fears.

Ah yah betrayin' the family? Yah know that these apples pulled us outta a mighty fine mess, an yah want ta stop tha?

Ah yah not loyal to the family?

Ah yah not loyal to the family?

[Apple Jack's POV]

Apple Bloom talked to her younger self, both of them snickering about one joke or the other.

Big Mac and I, however, were on Zapp Apple duty.

I eyed the Zapp Apple tree next for bucking. The branches, normally filled with only leaves, now sagged under the weight of the numerous Zapp Apples. I casually turned around and bucked the tree, the apples landing in the two buckets with practiced ease. Bucking apples was my go to whenever things were bothering me. The repetitive motion helped calm my mind in a way none of Twilight's magic could.
