[Flurry Heart's POV]

The moment my parents had left with baby me, I felt my eyes well with tears. That was probably the last time I will ever see them.

Hopefully when we fix everything, we could all go back to being the happy family we were.

I looked down at myself, remembering everything that I had gone through. I doubt that I would be able to trust anypony the way everypony else does. I had to force myself to speak my mind when I hung out with the others.

My introspection was interrupted by Pinkie bouncing in front of me, her excitement palpable.

"HeyFlurrydoyouwannacomewithustohaveapicnicintheparkEveryponyelseiscoming!" Pinkie blurted. It's days like this that make me somewhat okay with the amount of time I had spent around Pinkie.

"Okay, sure," I replied, making Pinkie's smile widen, if that was even possible with her huge smile. "I'd love to."

I smiled as I sat around the ponies that I had come to trust

I smiled as I sat around the ponies that I had come to trust. I talked to Spike while Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Absentia were busy catching up with each other's lives, seeing as they all were separated for so long. Zecora was busy talking to the Blo-Mane Six (I think we all still need to get used to that) about all of their adventures and whatnot.

I looked at little Spike with a giggle, watching as he tried to wrap his mind around the fact that he would soon grow wings as well. It was a fact they all were battling with, not that I'm surprised.

What was actually surprising for me was that we were actually able to be so comfortable around them. I spotted Sweetie rubbing her right front hoof whenever she looked at Rarity and saw Apple Bloom look skittish whenever Apple Jack talked to her.

Is it a sad thing that this is what we consider this a drastic change from how we first acted around them?

Well, it's better than nothing.

[Pinkie Pie's POV]

I was so happy that Flurry actually agreed to hang out with us, especially after she told us her story. That was why I had planned this picnic in the first place. We all could use the extra time to just relax and laugh a little.
