Synopsis:

Taking place after a three-year time skip, the series will follow Shindou Kurono, Kiba Shion, and Anjou Tokoha as the new protagonists of G.

Kurono uses the never-before-seen clan Gear Chronicle, which brings together the destinies of these three toward an "impossible future, an impossible self signifying 'Generation.'"

Tokoha Anjou

Tokoha Anjou is member of Team TRY3 and is an eighth grader in the same class as Chrono Shindou. She uses a Neo Nectar deck and her avatar card is Ranunculus Flower Maiden, Ahsha.

She is a level-headed honor student with a strong sense of justice. As a result, she often clashes with Chrono without her turning into a timid, little flower. She respects her older brother, Mamoru Anjou, who is a well-known Vanguard Fighter. Thanks to Mamoru, she knows a ton about Vanguard and is a very skilled cardfighter. She also treats Akane Kiyosu both as an older sister and a close friend.

She loves managing and participating in festivals, but tends to be rather bossy and intimidating whenever she organizes them. While she loves to Cardfight, she bears an inferiority complex towards Mamoru; she feels that she can never be as good as Mamoru and thus tends to avoid competing in larger tournaments.

Due to being Mamoru's little sister, people often expect her to be as good as him. As a result, she interprets this as a sign that she's living in her brother's shadow, which can upset her to the point of affecting her focus and cause her to make misplays, usually costing her a fight on more than one occasion. After defeating her brother once, she learned to not let this affect her any longer, as shown during her rematch against Rin Hashima.

Chrono Shindou

Chrono Shindou is the main protagonist of Cardfight!! Vanguard G. Before getting into Vanguard, he was anti-social, and wasn't interested in much of anything. However, since getting into Vanguard, his personality has undergone a complete overhaul. In his début, he is unfamiliar with the Cardfight!! Vanguard card game due to it not being available to him at his Orphanage. His Vanguard Circle's colour is violet-red.

His surname "Shindou" (新導) in Japanese means "New Lead," while his first name "Chrono" means "time."

Chrono has messy red hair with a pink swirl in the middle and has green eyes.The way his hair Is makes It look like an Ice cream.

At first, he usually wears a purple school uniform with a red shirt underneath but later on, he wears a blue jacket with a brown trousers and a black boots in his casual outfit. In Turn 27 and onward, he is shown to wear a white sleeveless jacket with black linings.
